I’ve seen some videos of how to get the most out of your sub pvp burst and its very different to what ive been doing with just cold blood and secret tech.
Alleged best rotation:
Kidney shot
Sblades, on-use trinket, dance, shadow strike
symbols, eviscerate
backstab
cold blood, secret tech
cheap shot
shadowstrike
eviscerate
Seems overly complicated and awkward to use, especially cause I dont have backstab bound during shadow dance, so will need to change some stuff around.
Does anyone know how to bind cold blood to always use right before secret technique in one button press?

You mean how do you make a macro to use those abilities in sequence? If so…

/cast Cold Blood
/cast Secret Technique
Copy and paste that into a new macro and then slap it on your bar where Secret Tech usually is. That’s it.

Ive been testing it on a dummy and its definitely more dps, just really awkward to get used to
Edit: also removing my symbols from shadow dance/badge macro and having its own bind is awkward too, just very very awkward to do this combo hahahah
But its really strong! I recommend it

You can’t just start with kidney shot, the best build uses deeper strat over mfd. also that rotation won’t work. The backstab after evisc might not generate 7 CPs, and you want your rotten proc to be with SS not backstab.
Also you’re far too worried about getting the most out of macabre when most of the time it won’t go how you expect (enemy will trinket, you’ll get cc’ed etc). Simple is better, just take backstab out of the rotation and get secret technique off earlier.
Yah, definitely don’t use Backstab during Shadow Dance. If you are struggling to use an ability that costs 4 more energy, I think you need to worry about some other things. 
I think the only time in history Backstab could be argued to use over Ambush was during Cataclysm when Backstab was critting for more damage than Ambush. Mostly due to Lethality. Hold on… Does Lethality not work with Shadowstrike? <.<
E: According to wowhead, it does. Phew.
I think its backstab in that one spot due to min-maxing of dmg, probably only 5-10k difference.
The reason backstab does more is talents that boost its dmg% the rotten being one of them. If you use SS 5x before you do the setup you can get another 50% dmg to backstab as well. Its all just perfect scenario.
