I found out that almost all of a sub rogues BIS stats seem to be in the world pvp vendor not the conquest vendor, I actually thought that Idea was kinda neat at first, but the issue is with the new patch update for this season you can no longer upgrade the Drake gear out of the Vendor.
I have however noticed you can upgrade the gear if It drops from the world pvp quest itself. so twice daily RNG in finding the pvp gear you need basically.
This is however the reason why Sub rogues seem to be over tuned at the moment is to make up for the fact they cant get BIS in the vendors.
I dont get invited to groups cuz my pvp ilvl looks horrible but I dont have a problem in pvp, it often feels like 3 shots and I kiill someone. Sub rogues are super glass cannon right now and the question is can you kill them before a teammate arrives and one shots you basically.
IF anyone knows any alternatives please let me know, but as I was trying to get gear I noticed this and only wish I actually upgraded my world pvp gear last season. Anyways I just wanted to throw some insight down.

I mean if you doing pvp you should at least get honor pvp gear since it scales in pvp combat, then conquest gear
You appear to have purchased season 1 bloody token pieces and are still using pve shoulders. Season 2 gear can be purchased from Malicia in the Gladiator’s refuge.

I purchased a season 2 piece last night and It gave me the same message, it wont upgrade
PvE shoulders, s1 chest, s1 bracers, s1 belt
And the big one, two s1 weapons
Honorable metnions to an insignia (badge is better for subtlety) and no crafted pieces (you can whip up custom mastery/vers pieces in any slot). Conquest neck also isn’t good because it’s all vers weighted.

bro ur not listneing to me, I purchases a season 2 belt yssterday and it said it wouldnt upgrade so i sold it.

It can be upgraded with trophies just fine.
Yeah, insignia isn’t great for Subtlety.
I have enough trophies and it was greyed out, ill double check.
Then you purchased a s1 belt.

they still let you buy season 1 stuff in season 2?
Only bloody token pieces, but yes. There’s an evoker guy next to Malacia that sells Drakebinder pieces, and these are s1 and quite weak this season. They scale to like 408 or something and current honor gear is 437.

Yeah, I think that they needed to do away with s1 stuff on vendors entirely. I made the mistake of grabbing a s1 piece by mistake on an alt just because I was used to using him as a vendor.
Sadly was unable to refund stuff and had to earn more bloody tokens.

Easy mistake to make considering they just swapped to the new seasons gear on the honor and conquest vendors but for bloody tokens they not only added a new vendor but left the old one in.

what do you mean by this? are you saying conquest neck is bad for sub?
I think it’s just that the honor one is really good until you can make a crafted one.
I think my gear must not be up to date, I bought the conquest version just yesterday with 3 gemsin it and ITs vers/Mastery gem.
70 vers, 33 mastery for each gem
