We have the pandaren that can join each faction. Then we have allied races that can join one faction.
Blizz can we have more sub races that are not main races with cities and starting zones but sub races that are kind of like the Pandaren. Sub races can be found dead in the shadowlands that as individually want to join the action. This can open up a lot of new possibilities with old races that are part of WOW but have been left behind. This would be an individual choice not a racial choice. Just think if an Arakkoa or a Tuskarr was found in the Shadowlands then some how found a way to rejoin the living and join a faction of their choice. I think this could open up the fun but not hurt the lore. If Blizz put the ethereals as a sub race i think that would be an insult to the race. That race needs to be a full race or an allied race. There are so many other small pop races that would be fun to play. Sub races should be able to join each faction and each have a long quest and rep unlock or whatever but not really impact the story.

Factions, in the way it works in wow is outdated imo. It just splits the playerbase for no reason. If there’s going to be factions at all, then don’t prevent the players from playing with each other.
Though another problem I guess would be that there is only really two major factions… If we had more choices maybe.
I’d like races that are not beholden to their factions. We’ve seen that is the case with many NPCs. Blizz certainly gave very little reason for many to want to remain part of the Horde and Alliance in BfA. I can also see various classes choosing their class over their faction. Druids especially. With the new starting area Blizz can possibly add something like that. Allow people to start in a neutral zone and pick a side or /GASP remain neutral.

The Darkmoon Arcade should have a game where you have to figure out and input a password at the WotLK login screen before Sindragosa shows up and roars you to death.
Both races enjoy subs equally. So it’s understandable to have sub races.
I want a Draenei sub race; they’ll make me as many tuna subs as I want and occasionally meatball. They seem like a race that can make good food y’know.
(Wheat bread toasted with cheddar, spinach and tomato for the vegetable and tomato and bbq for the sauce.)
