Alright i have zero pvp experience with rogues. I know versatility is the best to survive in pvp. Just wondering, wouldnt it be better to stack crit and mastery (like gor pve) to score a kill faster?
Also are there classes more vulnerable to rogues like clothies in vanilla?

Crit modifier is reduced in PvP. You still want some, but it’s essentially the least important. Vers > Mastery with some crit. Zero haste if at all possible, although some very small amounts of haste may be unavoidable.
Class vs rogue is an outdated way of viewing wow now adays. Think spec vs spec. The answer there is yes, but since I don’t main sub I’m not equipped to give a good answer.
What I do know is sub 1v1 can excel in a wide variety of matchups, but to play well you need a lot of knowledge of other classes kits.

This is correct^
Sub is still very good vs most things, but you do have specs that counter you pretty hard in 1v1.
Rets/hunters/Disc/SP/Unholy DK/Mages/Demo/Destro/feral/ww monk and most tanks can all give you a rough time as sub.
