Sub Oversimplification

Why else would Blizzard have the agenda to pump out unfinished content so quickly and with very little testing other than a leap of faith to maintain player count. Blizzard would have to drop employment numbers so fast in between quality expansion designs to maintain a profit margin for an average of 900 employees for WoW alone, that is not including WoW sustaining their other game development departments with more employees. The entire current design is to make profit from players throughout the year. Quality content would take an average of 5 years for a smaller studio. Blizzard pumps out expansions every 2 years since Cataclysm with bugs, pissing off players with ugly class changes, half-baked content, outdated mechanics, new currencies to grind, new shiny objects to grind for, not enough content to hold interest between seasons causing peaks numbers to happen at the beginning of a new season and fall off towards the end of a season. The seasonal stuff is laughable at best with an average employee count of 700-1000 employees since Mists of Pandaria to now and Blizzard still can’t maintain a consistent player base.
