My sub runs out in a few days. Did I miss anything good since the first month of release? I finally have some time off and my friends are telling me it's not worth playing. I know I should be the judge of my game play experience but it seems like there is so much negative back lash. The negative feedback wouldn't be a problem if I didn't feel any truth to it.
Too many raid difficulties to be inspired to become stronger.
Islands had huge potential but looks like its faceroll and extremely boring.
RNG is too strong in this expansion, Titanforge doesn't help this situation at all.
Scaling system seems to be a tool hurting the game more than helping. Hurts my will to level allied races. I never felt so disappointed from leveling up. Seeing that ding animation and sound really lost its feels.
I come here not to hate the game but to ask for help. If anyone has a way of enlightening me then please do. I really do want to be wrong. I want to see the beauty in the game but struggling a bit. Time to dust off my rose tinted goggles and fake it til Activision Blizzard never makes it?

The problem with Battle for Azeroth is that everything sucks, it is beyond redemption.
So it is a better investment for Blizzard to abandon the expansion, like they did in Warlords of Draenor, and focus on the next one.

Its pretty bad to be honest. End game is just not fun. Its a mess really. Heaps of all weird ideas and none of them work.
Try it for yourself. The issues you listed are largely overblown. If you try them yourself and come to the conclusion that they are a problem, that's fair. Mine is up in 2 hours. I'll probably just do some ESO or Guild Wars 2 just for something different for a while. I am interested in the Blood Elf heritage armor so I may resub for that... Or not. We'll see.
largely it a bust. But there are a tiny bit of hope. with next patch if they fix few glaring problem. Looking glarring at horde gets. The story is so bad that you want to reach in and throw the writer a clue button. Otherwise there are some little things for bfa not bad. I mean like mythic being interesting and interesting like don't do it for gear. The other thing is it seem to see people enjoying an scratch my head on it. Doing wq. there are like 15 really fun ones. the rest to me are crap. But there always people doing them. a lot of them out gear and looking into rep don't need rep. yet here they are. its weird

The loot table is small, Azerite gear from raiding is only good for that raid, the trinkets are crap, the story is inconsequential to whatever the plot of BfA is ....

This. Basically 8.1 is what *beta* should have been lol.
If you really truely mean this, I do have a lot of time right now for the holidays. I'll make myself some goals and turn off the videos. I'll give it a try because of this sweet gesture.

Thank you Nagel. That was really awesome to have someone reach out like that. Made me go from meh to surprise. Looks like I got 30 more days, I'll take this chance to focus on whats important in game. Nagal mentioned something about community being important and I agree. This made my day and it only just begun.
