Taxes strike again
Yeah, just when I thought it couldn’t get worse
Well apparently your edit was 141 posts too late
Thank you for making the correction though. It shows you have integrity.
Right of Secession has NEVER been in the US Constitution. The “Articles of Confederation” went out the window when the Constitution was signed and ratified by 9 of the 13 states.
There is no “right to secede,” dramatically proven by the surrender of General Robert E. Lee to General Ulysses S. Grant in 1865, and the dissolution of the Confederate States of America. Something that did not exist since 1787 cannot have been “taken away” in 1865.
Lol I edited around 50 posts
Really too bad how his life went after his presidency. His enforcement of the 15th Amendment is rarely mentioned, and dying of throat cancer after struggling to write and sell his memoirs so his family wouldn’t be broke after his death is kind of a crappy way to go.
Did it? I’m subbed from token. I wouldn’t pay $16 a month. I know it’s just a dollar but it adds up. I’m supremely cheap, I like to save money
That’s what I’m saying. I learned the value of a dollar in college man. The official struggle lol
It is to those that have no dollars
Touche sir touche
Petty arguments?! In General Discussion?!
If you’re that broken up about paying the extra dollar or so in sales tax:
step 1) find a friend with lots of WoW gold;
step 2) find a way to get him $15 worth of, umm, whatever;
step 3) have him send you the amount of gold equal to the current cost of a WoW token;
step 4) use WoW token to pay monthly subscription
You win, your friend wins, Blizzard wins.
I’ve been to Anchorage in the winter. Whatever Alaska’s #1 in, they’re welcome to all that good stuff they can eat.
Granted, I pay for mild winters with the merciless fury of the August sun, but that’s a price I’m willing to pay.
With all of this discussion, didn’t recall hearing about the price going up or taxes being applied to from where I live - thanks for waving the flag because it made me go look at my account.
Worst is when they tax for digital items like a pet or mount.
No, they don’t. Netflix doesn’t… they just raise it. It just goes up for new subscribers a few months before current subscribers see their increase.
At the very least, we should give Blizzard props for not raising the cost of our sub fee over the years despite inflation. $15 back in vanilla was like $19 now.
Not that broken up about it. But I didn’t know the change. To be honest I don’t even know why I’m responding anymore. I’m getting tired of repeating myself even when I put an edit in at the top. I guess some people just want to be petty
Some people don’t like to win. S’kay.
No, I paid taxes then as I would have now.
However, either way you look at it, it’s still taxation without flotation.
