So since premade warsongs were a thing.
I’m wondering is there really anything stopping big guilds or mafia groups just getting on discord and agreeing to wipe everyone else out?
This is giving me those devilsaur vibes here where the meta is to just join an STV PvP list, or risk getting wiped by roaming WoW premade guilds that vow not to kill any guildies.
I mean if we get token per kill. This feels like the way to go. Farm everyone who isn’t in the biggest ‘gang’ to oblivion.
No mafias will exist in SoD.
The mafia nerds aren’t going to do anything in SoD.
They have nothing to look forward to in SoD.
They will have to go back to painting their star wars figurines.
I think presumably the downside to going around in a massive group is there will only be one thing to loot per corpse, which kind of inherently encourages smaller scale encounters.
Even better, maybe they’ll give everyone in a raid group resurrection sickness. That’d for sure even out the fight and prevent the death balls from building momentum

They said if you PVP in a group you will be punished.
Solo farming will be the best.
Reading is hard, but they did say in the post that Large groups will be punished during the event
All they need to do is just not target guildies. They can all be solo and avoid killing each other. And just wipe everyone else.
That way everyone has 0 chance and just dies instantly to a big roaming band of non-grouped ppl that just don’t kill each other, but everyone else.

If people aren’t familiar with devilsaur farms, basically if you were horde, you’d have an alliance guild tasked with killing all your competition in the Un’goro Basin.
And alternatively, if you were alliance, there was an alternate horde guild killing all the alliance solo farming devilsaur. That way nobody could ever get devilsaur kills while both groups ran the zone in a pvp area.
As this was the most efficient way of killing in vanilla in a contested area, I just see this being the meta when STV comes around. To wipe out any solo player out there. While bigger try-hard guilds do solo wipe squads around the zone.
NO ONE CARES.
They are adding new loot that is probably better.
No one cares about devilsaur or your theories.
I’m just saying just like how ppl cry about warsong premades, what’s the point of pvp rewards in the zone, if you get none, lmao.

On a smaller scale there are some neckbeard multiboxers doing that with the boe cape rn.
If there exists some pathetic thing to corner, there are pathetic people willing to do it.
