Stuttering issues on a brand new laptop

Intel Core Series 1 Ultra 9
32gb RAM at 5600 mhz
RTX 4070
1TB SSD

This is the laptop in question. As you can see it’s plenty powerful enough. I have no performance issues other than the stuttering/hitching/freezing/whatever you want to call it when your game randomly locks up for 1-2 seconds. Framerate on average is around 90-100 on max settings, so this machine handles the game very well. It’s always plugged in running at top performance.

The War Within is fully installed with the latest patch. Graphics drivers, windows are all up-to-date. I’ve done basic troubleshooting on my end by lowering the graphics settings to the bare minimum, disabling all addons, checking my temperatures (GPU hovers around 60-65c while CPU hovers around 75-80c), to no avail. I am simply at a loss here. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Does it change if you plug your device in vs running off the battery? Check your power management settings, not sure what brand of laptop your using, but new ones might be set lower to avoid overheating and conserve battery life.

This may again be an Intel issue

Hello Kozzae. I suppose I should have mentioned that detail as well, but it’s always plugged in running at top performance. I’ll make sure to edit my post w/ that.

Is my processor apart of this Arrow Lake lineup? Is there nothing I can do until they fully fix it then?

Yours appears to be meteor lake which has its own set of issues and never made it to desktops.
