it’s been fine for me until this past few days. i want to say that it’s the new radeon drivers but it’s been normal when i’m walking around in dragon ciry
there was a setting you can type in but i forgot what it is
Hmmm. Interesting. I would say it’s the driver as it’s been the only change, correct? Normally I’d start there but the game has been a stuttering mess for a lot. However, you stated it just started for you in dungeons…
Edit: NVM code that was typed. The client below me explains why.
Not even Blizzard got a clue what their own workers do… The AdvancedInterfaceOptions addon got GxAllowCachelessShaderMode setting, and if you set it to 1 you will get camera stutters again. I doubt that setting will ever be fixed and forever disabled.
Before I checked the forums, I was planning on swapping out my 1080 for a 4070, because I assumed the unplayability in dungeons (raids specifically) was the issue, 1080 being as old as it is.
Last minute check on the forums before dropping $1,000+ on new hardware and WHOA. Saved me a bundle. It’s not the hardware at all. Last night I raided on my potato laptop and although it was… less than wonderful, at least it was playable, not any major issues.
When I finally drop my sub, it will be NOT because of issues like this, but strictly the OBTUSE policy of ignoring players and blaming hardware.
HOW MUCH COULD IT POSSIBLY COST TO POST “WE ARE AWARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND ARE WORKING ON IT.”
Wtf are you not making enough money blizzard? You can’t afford to hire 5 people to respond to us?
Yeah, no we have enough stutters to deal with… I just couldn’t think of another code for the OP. I honestly wanna say it’s just the game…
Pre all this I would have looked elsewhere… I know they said it started after update to driver…
But it the stutters and crazy fps drop seems to be getting worse and worse as time goes on. Plus, more people are starting to experience it or rather notice it.
