Stuters and Fps drops

It has been happening since the last week weekend “hotfix”. The screen is almost frozen sometime due to how bad it has been.
Already reinstalled wow, addons, bnet.
Disabled addons.
Tried to delete cache, wtf/interface folders.
All with no effect on the problem.
I saw a old thread about it and seems to be the same problems as me

Wich only indicates its a blizzard problem, not my computer.

Having the same issue since last week. My PC is pretty outdated by todays standards but I was playing just fine when 9.2 launched and after the last hotfix I get constant frame drops to where my screen basically just freezes up entirely especially so when I enter combat with groups of other places in the open world. Instances are fine however.

same all is well then on most every tuesdays maintenance same thing as you describe

don’t ask me exactly what i have done but at some point things start working, perfectly until next server maintenance then the battle begins once again

Last maintenance somehow fixed the issue for me, i just don’t get why it keeps happening.

Upgrading windows helped for me but its still a significant fps drop in the open world in group combat. Could chalk it up to my old GPU but again I wasn’t having these problems at the start of 9.2 so its something in the hot fixes. At least its not borderline unplayable anymore.

And its back, not even a month without them breaking the game on a hotfix lol

Did you update to the nVidia driver today?

Yeah, as i said before, its always something in the “hotfixes” blizzard does that end up screwing the game for me. Then after 1-2 weeks it starts working normally again, usually after a server maintenance.

That’s not common feedback. This week was server maintenance, not hotfixes.

I dont know what to tell you then. Wow is the only game i play that has this issues even after i reinstalled it and cleared cache.

That doesn’t mean it’s the client, that’s not how troubleshooting works. Have you opened a ticket and let the staff review system reports from the machine? As this is a troubleshooting forum, that’s the only process available here. It’s not a place for developers to field vague feedback.
