I ran some normal Freehold on my demon hunter because its quicker grinding Parrotfeather Cloak

I got it to drop relatively quick, however, apparently since the cloak dropped with agility on it, the cloak is not unlocked for my paladin.
Keep in mind, this cloak is on everyones loot table, it can drop with str, agi, or int. My paladin can receive the cloak in any of its three specs.
Ultimately this is quite annoying, if I want to use the transmog on my paladin, who I originally wanted it for, I have to regrind it and hope I get it or hope the people I queue with are willing to trade it.
Wrong.
It’s not in your paladin’s appearance collection because it’s still eligible to be traded in your DH’s inventory. Scrap it, vendor it, set it to favorite, or put it in void storage and it will be unlocked account wide.
Appearances are never added to your collection permanently while they can still be traded to other players or sold back for a full refund.
There are plenty of stupid restrictions, but this isn’t one of them.
2 unfair things, imo:
1.) Losing a transmog because you are nice enough to give it to someone else who really needs it. Yeah, I know that could be abused, so put a ‘only the first two ‘owners’ get the xmog’ type of thing.
2.) Holiday xmogs only lasting during the holiday. I mean, sure, only allow the xmog to be bought during the holiday, but don’t UNDO it afterwards! People will naturally get new gear and lose the xmog that way. It’s just more ‘fun police’ to rip it away.
That would still be abused so that two people can learn the appearance of every item that drops.
Normally if grouped with other people; you are in a dungeon/raid. The quantity of drops that could be shared is going to be very very small. So that ‘abuse by 2 people’ is going to be negligible under normal circumstances.
Just tonight we ran Uldir and the only gear I got was a ring. Not a lot of abuse in that raid run I could do, eh?
