Yeah, honestly, this is what pushed me towards wanting to jump ship now. I was basically guaranteed to get my Unholy set bonus this week and now it won’t matter because my entire guild’s gonna be doing less DPS during Mythic Remnant prog despite having more set bonuses and better gear.
Retroactively punishing everyone who raids after the tier’s already been cleared by a dozen-odd guilds feels horrible.
And yes, these set bonuses were bonkers. Everyone knew that. But maybe Blizzard should’ve thought about that before deciding to hotfix these set bonuses into the game the day before SoD was opened up and nerfing them into the ground three weeks later.
Feels like a colossal middle finger towards your raiding playerbase when you otherwise did pretty damn well with us on that front.

I literally just got it finally, am steamrolling a torg 12 and mid floor my dmg goes down. feels bad
They buffed them literally the first week before players even had them. This is objectively a good thing, they were way too strong, but to do it NOW after doing aggressive tuning before it was even live or tested is why this feels awful.
Complete clown show development.

If only there was a way or a place where Blizzard could test things before rolling them out to their customers. Alas such a magical place will never exist.

It’s already been unnerfed.
What a gut punch. So excited to get my set bonus piece from the GV, only to see it instantly nerfed.
Also, the tooltip for the static buff isn’t even updated. At t3 it says it gives 20 main stat per stack and 600 on release…where it’s actually 10 per proc/300 on release (the dynamic buff reflects the change at least). Nice.
So you are saying they should stay OP across all content like m+ or PvP when there are players who only PvP or so m+ should the be punished for not wantong to raid? The gems are way too OP they pretty push your dps by a good 10 to 15ilvls. I am ok with them staying strong if they only work in raids and their effect is disabled everywhere else.
Still gonna wait for that “patch note” Jeff Hamilton said was coming.

Jeff Hamilton said the nerf was meant to go out after the reset, so the nerfs stay, they’ll just be out tomorrow.
