You are correct, there is DR in 1.12. I was thinking out of the box Vanilla, which I donāt remember having DR. But I think it worked a bit differently than it does now in retail than it did in 1.12?
I believe as a rogue for example that Cheap Shot, Kidney and Mace proc stuns are all on different DRās. So you can stun lock someone from 100% to 0% since each one resets to full duration after 15 seconds.

I played a resto druid back in vanilla and I just remember rogues smashing me down with what seemed like endless stuns.

I remember when Fear wouldnāt break when you looked at it and would send you halfway across the map. If people want that back, Iād take it!
classic will be there for you. id play it but a new game ive been waiting a long time for is coming out a week or two later, wont have time for both
Nah still gonna play BfA. Iām not a huge fan of Classic wow. Just was reminiscing about old CC and how anyone can think this is worse.

This why I play a druid now. Yeah, stuns are still going to happen, but I never have to deal with the slows anymore. Huge weight lifted off the back.
If only there was a way you could position yourself using the terrain to some how get of of their line of sight so you donāt get beat on the whole match
Or maybe if you and your team had some sort of tools to peel your enemies off you
And when you feared someone in the water, they would still go at the super speed like they were on land. You could drown people fairly easy.

HHTD and others that even help w interrupts . tracking DRās for the player and even on command wispers (to coordinate cc chains)
At least they should restrict those in pvp like say limited add ons only

But infamously kidney shot did not share DR with cheap shot. Those kidney shot stuns were so damn long. The feeling of a healer saving you from that full stunlock is indescribable. Generally you die just before or just after the stunlock ends, having done nothing.
The way people went out of thier way to kill, bleed, and tag rogues was just beautiful. The rogue hate in classic pvp was truly intense.
This is a total and complete joke compared to classic , incapacitate effects have totally changed spontaneous interaction and also reaction to stand still while I or we kill you ā¦ It is ridiculous
I agree. I have 759 days total time played on my priest. I remember the shock/disappointment I felt when with a new expansion or series of patches (it may have been the Legion expansion, I donāt remember) so many classes/specs could stun/interupt/other CC in PvPā¦ especially arena. It seemed like Blizzard, instead of nerfing ccās, stuns in particular, gave more classes/specs stuns as a solution to gameplayā¦ which for me, is less fun gameplay, at that. āYou get a stun, and you get a stun, and you get a stun!ā lol
1 year necro is pretty decent.
I like to imagine they did a BG and died in a stun, so they rush to the forum and search all āstunā threads so they can seek validation for their tears.
