I mean we’re getting down to fundamental directions that PvP can go in. Is it playable? Yes. Is it fun? Hmmmm.

Prestige is abandoned. The conquest bar is generally despised. The basic gear doesn’t scale. Battlegrounds, in the eyes of the devs, are easier than LFR and world quests (ridiculous). And no, going off on a big spill about how good you are and how you single handedly won a 1v40 AV or soloed mythic Jaina in a naked level 30 resto shaman isn’t going to change the objective fact a battleground is harder than a world quest. Marks of Honor are useless. They keep balancing around and pushing for e-sports.

Is it fun or satisfying gameplay? Or is it generally unsatisfying, frustrating, with no sense of progression? I mean, there’s a reason the player base keeps shrinking. They really have to stop listening to vile esport trolls, before servers start closing.

It’s not fun. Or satisfying. Or rewarding.

its not the esport players that are the problem, its the audience and their sponsors.

can’t have a complex game because the audiences can’t keep up, can’t say anything mean or offensive because the advertisers don’t want bad associations.

competitive players are not the market anymore, they are the product to be showcased.

If you’re trying to 1v4 alone and get stunned to death that’s got nothing to do with “too much cc in the game”. As I said it’s balanced around team play meaning you should have help from healers, and teammates should be peeling for you. Do you understand?

So I play a healer, and when I am in a pug BG (I don’t do RBGs) it isn’t a matter of 1 vs 4 it is five vs five or ten vs ten or whatever. I still can end up cced till dead without being able to run or cast. That said, it doesn’t always, or even usually, happen it is just so annoying that it seems like it is.

if you nerf crowd control / stuns then literally nothing will die in rated.

Nerf healing to nothing for all players not primary healers, like it used to be, no self healing for non-healers and less CC and you could still die, or kill, in rated while we could get back to a more enjoyable and competitive experience in casual play.
