having the same issue on my level 80 hunter
Same here every alt now can not progress past intro now no npc shows up.
I even have the portal to Oribos, but can’t do anything there. No quest, etc.
@blizzard. Seriously fix this damn issue!!!
Why is everyone trying to return to the Shadowlands? Stockholm Syndrome?!
Just kidding. I’m experiencing this on a level 80 alt that never did Shadowlands content when it was current. Glad it’s not just me.
Blizzard has stated that they have a fix intended for this bug coming out in 11.0.7 - so there’s an end in sight for this annoying situation!

Also blocked from progressing.
There is now a quest for the 30th anniversary that requires you to go to Ardenweald. Since we cannot progress the shadowlands intro quests we cannot get a flightmaster NPC to appear to fly there. I see posts about a possible fix for 11.0.7 but you’re telling us we cannot progress your 30th anniversary event until then? Seems like a big ball drop for those who were actually enjoying your event.

i made that quest using the M+ portal to Mist of tirna scithe in Ardenweald, i dont know why but when you use that portal you can use flightmasters
Due to Shadowlands being bugged, no way to go to Maldraxxus and get the last celebration crate either.

It happened to me while doing Secrets of Azeroth. I just used the Ardenweald port instead.
This is a major bug that Blizzard refuses to acknowledge! Yesterday I took a former Remix druid through the SL skip for the Secret 20th Anniversary stuff for the Felcycle solving! He is 80 and time and time again any former 70+ Remix characters or any character 70+ in general are having issues starting not only Shadowlands but Legion too!
This all started with 11.0.5! Like this priest I am posting under cannot start the Class Hall in Legion even with trying to find any work around with no success such as redoing questing with someone in Party Sync or even using skips in the Party Sync and the other person cannot even start the Class Hall either on their high level toon! The NPC that gives the first quest for the Class Hall doesn’t even approach even for them on their high level toon.
Back to Shadowlands, since the patch 11.0.5 hit starting Shadowlands first showed issues with the Threads of Fate being broken. It worked when 11.0.2 was the current patch. Any high level toon I try to open up Shadowlands on to try to do the 20th Anniversary content, even the secret content on such as the Felcyle mount puzzle solving, runs into the issue of now not being able to start any Campaign stuff from SL now. Blizzard needs to get off their butt and fix this stuff!
Happened to me as well doing the anniversary quests and crates, I found a small workaround if you’re level 80 though.
You can take the M+ portals in Dornogal to either Bastion or Ardenweald and fly there if you have the Shadowlandds scouting map toy to unlock the flight points if the Shadowlands rotation isn’t up in the anniversary area. Totally saved me with the Ardenweald quest and 11th celebration crate.
I’ve already opened a ticket on this issue. They have acknowledged that it is a known issue they are working on. We just have to be paitent and wait till they get it resolved. Keep in mind that blues dont post replies in the bug report forum typically.

yeah it’s bugged I hadn’t done SL and needed to get to ardenweld for one of the anniversary quests so I’m SOL
I’m having the same issue. did the skip, got to oribos and no quests or anything but the side quests from the npc’s under oribos. I even went into my cache and deleted files to see if that would fix the situation. Unfortunately no luck. even did scan and repair. unless it requires an uninstall, reinstall the only thing I can think of is seeing if another mage or warlock can teleport to those places in SL. anyone try this yet?
Uninstalling won’t fix this issue. It’s a known bug that is to be fixed in patch 11.07
man I hope so. I just came back to the game a couple months ago after a long hiatus and just the amount of bugs that I come across is insane.

I just LOVE how long this bug has been in the game for newly-created characters and alts, and the only solution is to wait until patch 11.0.7 fixes the issue. TWO FREAKING MONTHS of waiting for something like this to be fixed. Insane how they’re so slow to fix something that completely locks people out of an entire expansion.
