stuck with 8 Piece Of hate the machine code 77777 does not give me the coin. i got all the other piece of hate possible, just the machine in the fel cycle room doesnt give me my coin! Help!!

Having same problem. It dings and a magnifying glass icon apears, but there is no item anywhere around.

i am also having this issue, i tried 777,77777,7777777 on every one and nothing

Its largely rng there are some items you can buy to increase your luck but otherwise you just gotta keep trying

HI there, I was stuck like this, getting the magnifying glass and no error sound, when I typed in 77777, with all the lucky gear.
Then I saw a video where a guy got it by typing in 7777. I tried that, and it worked.

Whoever designed and approved this quest needs to be fired. This is a perfect example of what is ruining players experience in WoW. I have all the lucky items, spent hours attempting to get the last piece of hate, only to be denied. The mount is not worth this effort. Why is WoW still making ground mounts!!!

I figured it out, make sure you have lucky items until you get a message that says “You are feeling exeptionally lucky” or something like that. Theres a bunch of “lucky” items on wowhead.

I had 7 lucky items in my bags: Lucky Charm (AH), Lucky Rat’s Tooth (AH), Old Lucky Coin (AH), Lucky Dragon’s Claw (Dornogal), Lucky Tortollan Charm (Dornogal), Lucky Horseshoe (Ohn’ahran Plains), for a total of around 200g. Don’t know if 7 lucky items has anything to do with the code 777, 77777 or 77777777, or if it was just coincidental, but it worked for me.

after an hour of pressing 7’s with Lucky Duck, Lucky Quillen Cub, Smelly’s Luckydo, Lucky Horseshoe, Lucky Tortollan Charm, and nothing…I went outside, Brutosaur AH and bought Lucky shirt, Lucky dragon claw, Lucky Rat’s tooth, and Lucky charm. Went back in, did 777 and got it.
The magnifying glass shows up and all the other slot machines de-spawn- that’s how you’ll you know you got the Piece of Hate

Check your in game mail, my 9th piece of hate was mailed to me. I was having the exact same problem and I did not even know I was short one piece until I started working on the 8th orb… Best of luck.
I am stuck at 8 as well. I had 8 pieces when I went in the room with all the “Feeling Lucky?” slot machines and after a few attempts at one of the machines, I got the magnifying glass over my head as if I’d completed it, but no 9th piece of hate showed up in my inventory.
I’ve done it several times over. Keeps showing that I’ve completed it with the magnifying glass when I hit 7 five times but no reward. Tried switching toons. It’s not in my mail as of yet. Frustrating glitch but I’m not surprised.
EDIT: Came back to the quest today after thinking it was glitched because I kept getting the magnifying glass but no piece of hate. Bought more lucky items and clicked the 7 nine times (for the nine lucky items I had in my inventory) and that gave me my ninth piece.
