Stuck on 'Retrieving character list'

I was able to play the game earlier today, but not I’m getting stuck on ‘Retrieving character list’

Same thing, black screen, besides the “Retrieving Character List” and menu at the top of the screen. I can’t click on anything. All add-ons updated. Closed and relaunched the game several times. Closed the game, closed bnet to check for updates, and relaunched, and still the same thing. Been waiting to log in for like 20 minutes now.

Yeah, I finally got in and then the servers shut down. lol

Not sure why, maybe a realm restart.

Seems it was connected to characters on MoonGuard. I had a char there pulled up. Now that server is down and I’m able to see my chars on other servers. Now to be able to get past the divide_by_zero crash…
