Stuck on Logging in to game servers screen

I am stuck on the Logging into game servers screen. I have reset my pc, my modem, and updated my drivers. I have also checked for updates on the client and did a scan and repair and nothing is working. My friends all comfirmed I have the same version (10.1.0.50000). Is this a known issue right now or am I just having a really bad time?

EDIT: It finally logged into servers but my character screen is black

Same. I can log in to Aegwynn and play on my characters on that realm but I can’t get into Dalaran or Azuremyst. Sometimes when I do get through it won’t show any characters on those realms. Earlier it had an error code but it doesn’t pop up anymore.

At the moment, i’m stuck at retrieving realm list, can’t log in.

Same, also just got a 502 Bad Gateway on oauth .battle.net trying to log into Battle.net to post this reply.

I’m having the same issue, and my internet is fine. I even logged in no problems using my mobile hotspot.

I’m usually hanging pretty hard on the loading after character selection but I have noticed a lengthier than usual login time too. Takes a good minute or two before it ‘finalizes’ and lets me play. Reminds me of good ol days of Legion and Dalaran when we learned needing SSDs is the best way to play this game… Except, you know, that isn’t the case here. Something is happening.

It has currently been about 5 hours that I have been stuck between logging in to game servers or stuck on a black character screen. I haven’t seen blizzard mention one thing about any problems and my internet is working fine

haven’t been able to log in all day. cant even get to char screen

Been having long loading screens when using portals and/or hearthing. Big lag spike and disconnect earlier. Home internet fine.

Same happening to me right now, i am sitting at 5 mins + login screen into a dungeon

i downloaded wotlk classic and same issue there aswell

I’m stuck in the Demon Hunter Order Hall in Legion.

any time I try to leave, I get a permanent loading screen.

I’ve tried using the portal and also using my hearthstone.

Took a portal on my human paladin and I got disconnected and now it will not let me log back into that character. It says a character with that name already exists. I’m also dealing with very long loading screens that sometimes end with disconnects.
