for the past 2 days i have not been able to log into any version of wow being stuck on the home screen saying “logging in to game server” i have tried all the troubleshooting i can find such as disabling add-ons, scanning and repairing, reinstalling the game, and restarting my pc nothing seems to work
You already tried another network like a mobile device or a VPN?
i dont have access to either, is there a free vpn software ?
Lots of them, but I can’t recommend one since it would look like an endorsement. Google and Reddit will have lots of options 
a vpn worked but it only works when i have the vpn on … am i now banished to having to play with a vpn?
Hopefully not, Hopefully the routing issue affecting some will be resolved soon, just no eta. Just make sure to restart not your pc, but network devices once in a while also.
Only until your ISP corrects their routing tables for the changes Blizzard made after the DDoS attacks.
