Since last night battle.net is stuck on initializing. I’ve tried different things. I updated the app and removed the green badge at the top. Still just initializing and at 0 when there shouldn’t be an update. I’m on a new pc desktop. Trying to open wow.
Did you reboot?

Same here. This is odd.
Same here. Restarted client, restarted PC. I left it running overnight for 10+ hours, still Initializing…
SOLUTION: I ran the Wow.exe in my retail folder and logged in manually w/ authenticator. Once the game ran, the “Initializing” disappeared and the PLAY button lit up.

EDIT: Looks like when you exit the game it goes back to Initializing… I guess the interim fix for now is to just run the exe and log in manually.
I’m also having this issue. I can’t attempt to open it up through the WoW app in the game folder either as it says it is corrupted. So yeah. This is fun.
