Stuck in the Forbidden Reach - Frostone Peak

I am stuck here - when I sign in, I’m brought to Forbidden Reach - Frostone Peak - I’m falling and get immediately get disconnected. I’ve tried about 10 times now. WTF?!

Use the unstuck feature in the online support.

What do you mean by ‘online support’? I have no way to do /unstuck in game. When I log in, I’m falling, then immediately get disconnected.

Try disabling all addons, see if the problem is fixed

You know online as in here verses in game as in in the game.

Thanks @Bluster-area-52 - did not help. I am free-falling, I get no more than 1 second in the live game, can’t even hit escape button or anything. Guess my next step is to contact Blizzard, which I’m not super excited about. This character has been my main since BFA.

Well, you don’t have to be in-game to use the service I linked. There is a self-service tool on the support site that should move your character if you can’t stay logged in. Unless you mean that you tried that and it didn’t work, then I dunno. The tool is basically the same thing the GMs used to use to move stuck characters.

I cant disable any addons, because you can’t do that until you’re logged in, and I can’t log in, because I immediately get disconnected. Or is there something I’m missing? And now I’m being told “Please wait for other users to participate before replying” - WTF - I’ve tried like ten times to post this and keep getting this error message. Feeling super frustrated.

You can log on to any character besides the one that’s stuck/falling and initiate the unstuck feature. It will ask you which character.

Something is going on with the support site right now though, and in-game support options don’t appear to be loading either. Bad timing.

Thanks - I will try that. When I try to use the “online” unstuck option, I get this error message: Proxy Error: The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server. The proxy server could not handle the request. Reason: Error reading from remote server.

Ouch. Sounds like what Bluster said might be the issue with the support feature atm. Maybe give it an hour and see if Blizz fixed things on their end.

Well, you can do it on the character screen, before you log on to a character. On the left there is a button for Add Ons, you can click and disable all add ons for all characters.

Thanks all! I have never needed to use the ‘Support’ section on the Esc menu, and it ended up working perfectly.
