Dude I am so sick of this garbage, constantly happens. In a Delve right now, killed literally everything but stuck in combat so cant loot. So so over it.

Find a way to die – jump off a cliff or drown or something. Death always clears combat sometimes.

They made your experience as positive as possible to reflect your name. I never get stuck in combat on my alt Ilovewow.

I’ve noticed Harvester’s Edict, that shadow ball trinket, and a few other trinkets have a tendency to keep you in combat. Try fiddling around with that, see if it helps.
Oooooh, that could have something to do with it!
Anything pet-like keeps you in combat even after all the hostile mobs are dead because the game can’t recognize that this other unit isn’t trying to attack you.
Storm,Earth,& Fire keep you stuck in combat for their entire duration and can’t be clicked off either.

but really, it dose get annoying. they should do it if you dont get attacked for X time then your atto put out of combat/can use out of combat stuff. could make the add(s) that are on you either reset or make them keep trying to get at you.

/stopcasting
/petdismiss
/cast Feign Death
Also, maybe it’s superstition, but rotating camera (right click) while feigning death always gave me mixed results. Haven’t played Hunter in a long time though.

Im laughting caz as a hunter i can get out of combat anytime i want if i make my pets fake death and then i fake death myself (all these years and i still forgett that skills real name)
Only times it brakes is if my first pets dead, being i then cant fake death my 2nd pet, if the mobs “reset spot” is to close or if i “get up” to fast

Thing is, you’ve got to be quick about it.
Roll a hunter. Feign death = profit.

Just to be clear is it that one delve with the mine carts where you can bait the spider people into getting knocked off and they fall down off the platform…?
Cause if it is i will forever keep doing it being stuck in combat don’t stop me from getting the end delve loot BUT will stop you from getting the lil pots and stuff so that is a bit annoying but by far its worth it to watch them get yeeted by mine cart LOL
