Anyone else having a problem in 8.2’s new zones where we cannot get out of combat mode. Solutions have only been hearthing, logging and porting (as I’m a mage) or jumping into an instance… I even try to use invisibility and no luck sometimes.
You can’t teleport in combat.
Source: I tried to troll my raid by putting a portal on the console in Azshara’a fight.

Yes, I was in feign death for over a minute while still in combat. I gave up and just ran, it finally wore off after I’d covered about half the island.
I have had it happen too many times to count. Annoying in Mechagon when you’re trying to activate your jetpack and can’t because you’re in combat with nothing at all.
Same thing with my Invisibility not cancelling it out like it should.
I have found the quickest route to drop out of combat to be ironically fighting another mob and killing it. Next thing you know I am out of combat.
Was doing the achievement stuff horde side on Zandalar the precurser stuff for the raid, and I came out of the scenario in combat. Only thing near me was friendly Brutosaurs. So yeah. Had to hearth because I could not take the FP to the city. Then had to run back out there to take the FP back to the city. lots of stupid pointless running aback and forth.
Also I get stuck in combat in random places that make no sense.
Oh yeah. Pretty much every time I go to Mechagon I get stuck in combat with some imaginary enemy. Half the time Shadowmeld won’t break it, either.
