Stuck In Combat for Long Periods of Time

Currently on my 107 gnome destruction warlock with war mode on doing the invasion in Azsuna. Flew from Dalaran to the closet world quest, went into combat with some enemies, then after completing the world quest and killing all enemies around me I couldn’t come out of combat. Tried to use the character stuck option to kill myself but it wouldn’t allow me to do that so I had to port back to Dal. Went to the next world quest area and it happened again. Was near an inn so I went in and tried to log off or exit and I couldn’t cause I was stuck in combat. Being tabbed out while seeing if anyone has experienced this I finally got out of combat after about 2 - 3 minutes in the inn. Hope someone can fix this.

Edit: it is also happening to my mage so it isn’t specific to my character. Might be a war mode bug.

Edit 2: I hearthed to a inn and was still in combat on my mage.

Did you complete an invasion world quest called “Battle for the ruins”? It is located inside of some night elf ruins in Azsuna.

I read somewhere this commonly is caused sed by addons. Happens to me from time to time as well. Far less now with azeroth autopilot removed in my ui.

This is a common bug and has been in the game for a really long time, like since BC long time. Its just one of those quarks that never gets worked out.

Yes, it was happening the most around that one.

That world quest has been bugged since it was released in legion, it doesn’t always happen, but I stopped doing it for that sole reason.

Its more than just that world quest.
