My level 81 alt has a problem:
I can’t get Jarod Shadowsong or Farseer Krogar to give me the quest to go to Deepholm (white exclamation marks). I’ve completed Hyjal and Vash’jir (acheives completed on alt). I have experience turned off so I can complete both cataclysm and Pandaria before I hit 90 so that I can do Draenor 90-100.
You have to be level 82 to get that quest; you’ll also need to be level 82 to pick up any quests in Deepholm, so you’ll need to turn XP back on & gain a level. The other Cata & MoP zones also have level requirements. You should wait until you’re level 85 before turning off XP for Cata, otherwise you’re going to continue to have problems like this. And when you go to Pandaria, you’ll need to turn it back on until you hit 90, or you’ll have the same problems there.
Since Pandaria is now an 80-90 continent, 85 would be enough to avoid this issue there too. The highest level requirement to accept any Panda zone quests is now 85.
