Yes we are back from maintenance I was just on with my bank toon then when I wanted to log to this character it went stupid and I had to relog in and now stuck in a spin.

Same here. First, my character list came up. Tried to log my alt in → character not found. Restarted the game, but now it’s hanging up at retrieving characters as already said.
Edit: Now I’m just getting disconnected at the character screen. There is also a notice about extreme server load at the top of the forum. Yay for Tuesday lol.

Same here. It’s not behaving as it normally does, even during downtime you should be able to shut it down. Can’t unless I force it closed.

None of the buttons in the client work for me either, but if you want to close it completely Alt+F4 seems to work.

I can confirm that ALT-F4 works to shut it down. Otherwise, the window behaves like it’s frozen, can’t click anything
