I have done all campaign and side quests and got the sojourner of Azj-Kahet achievement but im still on renown 5 with severed threads and 2/2/3 on the minor ones.
My friend im playing with has the same minor renowns but is at renown 7 with severed threads.
Has anyone one else had this issue and found a fix?
Is mine bugged or is his

That’s odd. I got to renown 6 only doing the leveling campaign. Maybe it’s bugged?
im at 7 but nothing else to do but kill rares

I think it might be bugged. Im just farming rares to try and make up what i lost.
I’m 5 as well I’ve killed some rares also I havent done all the quests in that zone ye

I only got to 4 and it’s not let me have a single renown since, so I’m thinking there’s an issue.
Mine is also stuck at 4…
I just realized that my reputation does not go up to rank 5 with Severed Threads, I did not realize until I finished all the main and secondary campaigns in the area and tried to get the trinket of renown 6, I have tried to kill rares and chests and although they give me reputation with this faction, the renown does not change from 5 and it does not increase the reputation bar

Stuck at 4 with the same level for each 3 reputations within it at Acquaintance, just like my friend yet he is at 6.
I submitted a support ticket to Blizzard and got back a ChatGPT response with a link to a third party website’s guide. Absolutely ridiculous.

It could be bugged or not, but my renown didn’t go up until one of the three went to the next level. As soon as it did, it added 2500 renown rep to the Severed Threads and it went higher. The campaign and two side quests got me to 5 and then I completed all the side quests and I am now 7 with this faction.
Severed threads renown works slightly differently. The actual “Rep” is with each individual member. When you go up a level with one of them, you go up one renown.

mine got to 5 and its been locked there since. im not sure why
other reps are at 8 so it feels like something’s wrong, idk.
*now it’s at 9 while the others are at 10. it looks like it only goes up once a week with weeklies and a tiny bit from world quests. it’s confusing because the ui always says 0/x

Severed threads renown goes up in whole chunks each time your standing goes up with 1 of its 3 representatives. Open your rep page and you’ll see severed threads has a drop-down with 3 more reps under it.

This may be true, but I feel like there’s more going on as well. My husband and I did all of Azj Kahet together and he ended up at Renown 7 while I’m stuck at 5. We’re both Acquaintances with the General and Vizier, and Crony with the Weaver. If it was only as you suggest, that wouldn’t be possible; we’d have the same renown level too. So I do feel like there’s more going on.
I think there might be, specifically because you’re able to gain rep with the respective factions from things like treasures and rares before you’re properly introduced to them which might have caused some weirdness. I can’t really look into it as I’ve done levelling my characters but I do hope if there’s a bug there it gets fixed.
Either way from this point forth that’s how you will get renown levels with the severed threads, and it’s why their renown bar will always be shown at zero.
So, can anyone please clarify how the renown works?
Is it gated? severed hands stuck at 11. it is not going up at all.
What am I missing?
