Stuck at Renown 19

60 Maldraxxus Shaman on Shandris. I have done the Maw Souls Quest, the 1000 Anima Quest, and every available campaign quest. I have done callings every day, the last 4 days the Calling did not give renown. I have done the following trying to get my last renown:
28 Heroic Dungeons
9 M0 Dungeons
3 M+ Dungeons
2 Battlegrounds (1W, 1L)
6/10 Nathria LFR Bosses
5/10 Nathria Normal Bosses

In all that, I have gotten 0 renown. I am stuck at 19 renown with the quest “House of Rituals: Reach Renown 20.” There are no other quests in my quest log even remotely related to renown. There are no available world quests or any other quests related to renown. While I understand there is a remote possibility I have done everything listed above and just been very unlucky with drops, I can’t make myself believe it. Anyone have any input? I’m worried without some sort of solution, I’m either going to be permanently a week behind, or have to drop my covenant and pick it up again to un-screw whatever is screwed up.

having exact same issue for 2 weeks now, stuck 2 renown under the weekly cap and even if i get the renown in other places like callings the quests that ALWAYS give renown just dont. 1000 anima quest and maw souls both didnt give renown this week. also done 7+ callings now without getting renown

Yeah I think Blizzard needs to clarify the renown system. I have seen reports of people saying that if they did the weekly collect anima/souls quests they could no longer gain renown. BUT I don’t think it’s quite that simple.

So I swapped to Night Fae Thursday morning. I got renown from random stuff- callings, a dungeon, winning a BG. I went ahead and did the 2 weeklies, got 2 more renown. I think at this point I was at renown 16. Did a bunch of arenas Thurs night, at some point got 2 more levels of renown, bringing me to 19.

Friday morning, when I picked up the new calling quest, it listed renown as the reward. However, once I actually did the calling last night, it did not give me renown when I turned it in.

I read a theory somewhere that the renown catch up mechanic is in place only until you reach the current week’s renown starting point. Once you hit that point, the mechanic is gone, as you would indeed be theoretically caught up through this week, and NORMALLY you would do your 2 weeklies which would give 1 renown each, and then your campaign would give you the final 3rd point of renown. On paper, it makes sense why it would work this way- if I had gotten renown through the catch up mechanic to say, level 20, and had not yet completed the 2 weeklies that give renown, then those 2 weeklies would push me over the cap. But it seems to me like it would be simple enough to just not have things reward renown if you are at the weekly cap, whether it’s the catch up mechanic, the quests, or the campaign.

I am not sure it was exactly intended to be this way, but if so, Blizzard REALLY needs to be more specific about the catch up mechanic and how it works. I am guessing that I am probably SoL until Tuesday, at which point the catch up mechanic will kick in again, I can get another 2 points from this week, then do my weeklies, and be caught up. But it kinda sucks in the meantime.

its a bug, next week dont do any of the weekly quests until u hit renown 21 and then u can complete the weekly quest cause it will bug out and u wont be able to get renown 24 next week, so just wait for next week cause u cant do anything rn

Same for my alt Mage, she is stuck at 19 and not matter what I do I can’t get that 20th renown to continue this weeks quest. Nothing I do, like the OP said, works. Last time I was behind I did some pvp and won a 40 man BG, but that hasn’t worked. Neither do dungeons.

I am having the same exact issue on 2 of my characters. I’ve been stuck a week behind for the last 2 weeks. I contacted a GM and they were unhelpful and said simply enter a bug report with no other resolution.

I am having the same Issue. Tried to get a game master to respond to me, but all they do is link me to the “renown catchup and how its works” post.

I am trying to communicate that it worked well for a while, and now i am stuck at 19 after doing countless hours of endgame content.

I am now under the impression that they either know, and hope it resolves as the Renown cap increases next week, or they have other issues that are taking priority. Either way my warrior was not able to unlock that extra conduit power effectively giving other players an advantage over me in PVP for a week.

If you’re stuck at 19, try doing the world boss. That’s what gave me the last renown emblem to push to 20 and be able to do the campaign.
