So string lights and boralus string lights that were both allowed for inside and OUTSIDE usage are now ONLY inside? I feel like this is a bug, but if that’s an actual intended change then I vote it should be reverted. Especially since those same lights are strung outside in the middle of the alliance small town in Founders Point. Hoping it is a bug and that it will be fixed soon!

Disappointed in the recent changes… The string lights don’t seem to have hurt anything since release and the current update feels punitive.
Right now, I don’t dare touch my outdoor decorations because quite a few were changed to interior only. I keep waiting for an HOA letter from Blizzard telling me to strip my decor or they will fine me 100 gold per day.

I refuse to touch anything outside my house now, just incase the decor is used is no longer available.

Same… Even before 12.0.5, when they added visible exterior plot boundary lines, they decreased our plot size (see a pic in THIS THREAD). I have things outside the boundary now and if I rotate those they snap back inside away from their originally allowed position. 
So this seems to be a trend: first shrinking plot size so some things previously placed can’t be touched or you’ll be unable to place them in their original location (now “out of bounds” but previously allowed); now shifting decor that was placeable outdoors to interior-only (which means if you touch it you’re screwed).

I agree with you, I don’t know why this change happened but it’s important to reverse it, I hope they fix it soon.

A list of hot fixes would be nice, poking around to try to see what is different is not the best way to evolve in this process.

I just stripped one of my outside decors just to get it over with and put up patrick,squidward and spongebobs neighborhood instead
