Stress Testing Stealth, MoD and Shadowmeld

I often see players asking questions about the effectiveness of Stealth, Master of Deception (MoD) and the Night Elf Shadowmeld abilites (Active and Passive). In particular, there’s a common misconception that certain ranks of MoD provide no additional benefit over the previous rank. I took advantage of the extended Stress Test weekend to level up Rogues on two accounts so I could run some much needed stealth tests. The results can be seen here:

This is a lot of information to go through but like… basically the answer is yes? All the ranks of Master of Deception make a difference? Is that about right?

Yes. Many players believed that MoD ranks 2/5 and 4/5 provided no benefit over previous ranks and those screenshots indicate otherwise. Also, I wanted to show how Shadowmeld compares to Stealth and MoD, both the active and passive effects. There had always been a lot of misinformation concerning those topics and so I felt it was worthwhile to test out some of those effects in a controlled setting within Classic.
