Tried to log on, queue of 1424 that back in the day would take an hour but it chunked down in a few minutes. Then sat on “retrieving Realm List” for a few minutes then DC’d me with wow 51900319 message. The realm list notes the test realm as offline.
Welcome to the authentic Vanilla experience.
its what you wanted
Keep trying
Same, been kicked 7 times trying to log in,que 1866 not complaining tho!
Damn their crashing
making progress made to server locked instead of offline
2nd attempt queue around 2000 got to actually see the realm listed as “population” low. Stuck at logging into game server window and then crashed out.
additional - 3rd attempt queue now over 2500. Not sure whether the queue is reducing as players are logged on or crashing out. 2500 would be a long long wait back in vanilla and bc but drops in a few minutes. I’m guessing crashes rather than getting online.
5th log in attempt. Got to Logging into Server then get kicked completely out. Now back to 4 minute wait.
6th log in attempt here. On the 5th, I made it past the error to the realm list. Once I clicked onto the realm, it booted me back to the login screen. Currently in queue.
Same for me. 7th attempt now.
7th attempt, made it back to the realm list. Test Realm marked “locked,” attempted login anyway. Kicked back out into the queue.
Same here but now its saying the server is now locked for me.
So far, I’m enjoying my authentic WoW Classic experience™
2000+ in Queue, just as I remember.
Finally got through to the character creation screen. Just times out. The single hamster they have must be exhausted.
I’ve had MORE fun DC’ing the past 45 minutes than playing WoW the past 4 years…
Apparently the stress test iss giving the servers a nervous breakdown.
Made it to character creation but any character I make says character creation timed out.
server population is locked
Activision CEO’s pet snake ate the hamster.
After trying to create a character and failing consistently getting a times out message my wife has suggested I either go do the shopping or watch paint dry. Off to do the shopping.
