“Logging in to game server”, we meet again.
I’m still “logging in to game server” after a few mins it kicks me back to the log in server and the cycle begins.
Been trying since 4:45pm CST
Edit: I should’ve complained earlier I am now 95% through the loading screen. Even if I don’t get in … progress!!

Yeah, I saw that too. I typed “PINKY SWEAR?” in trade when they said “This will be the last restart” lol.

I successfully made it in before the servers went down for restarting about 3 minutes ago. I just remained patient through a long login / character select screen to eventually log into my toon from the last stress test. Played for about 20 minutes lvl6 woot. I think patience is key.
I just got in.

So, how exactly are Blizzard going to stress test everything they wanted to get done last time (the reason for this extra test), when we’re having the exact same issues that prevented them from stress testing what they wanted last time?
Finally I could log in on a character…
For those that want Classic in August, be happy you can’t get in now and they’re working to fix all these issues. Could you imagine the smoking crater in the forums if this was launch day?

From main launch window, I click “Play”.
Game hangs on the “Logging in to game server” screen for about five minutes
That goes away but I’m still on the screen with the dark portal view and the Account Name and Account Password blanks. Don’t fill those in - it’ll cycle through the number waiting in queue and time to get in and, when that cycle stops, it’ll tell you it can’t find that account.
Click “Quit” back out to the main launch screen.
Rinse and repeat.

EDIT: I now have a character screen after about 11 or so attempts. I’ll keep up the edit for any changes.

None of these issues are going to be fixed by launch.

Had this many times myself.
So far just “logging in to game server” for 5+ minutes until I cancel and try again. Will just let it hang this time unless it disconnects.
Edit: I got into the server 1 minute after posting this.
That’s possible. I’m not saying it isn’t. But there are 2 more scheduled stress tests to go. And I just got in.
