Was watching one well known streamer get camped until he had to abandon playing. He said, “I will not play world pvp in Classic live, no way.” The reason is every pvp player knows where a streamer is (even his ghost) by watching his stream feed. Streamers cannot hide. They are beginning to be camped and will be camped in live unless they have an army with them all the times which again can be seen on their feed.
Lol! That’s exactly why Blizzard kept the beta population to exclusively streamers for a while.
hahaha weird dark side of being streamer.
That streamer wouldn’t happen to have been coughAsmondcough
Many will play on PvP servers.
They will complain they are being sniped and really dramatize their emotions like they are very angry about it in order to draw in more viewers and T3 subs.
They will laugh as they check their bank accounts.
This remind me of the time I was working at the Austin Music Hall and Vanilla Ice - who had recently remade himself as a heavy metal Artist - was playing to a crowd of 300 people (mostly comps) in a 3k capacity venue (cringe).
Anyway, at the end of his set he got on stage and railed against the music industry and people - I guess - for not coming out to support him - and that they didn’t know the real “Vanilla Ice”. It was rather amusing.
It never seemed to occur to him to simply give up the name “Vanilla ice” and remake himself with a new name.
I hear he did well in west Texas, but those plebeians don’t have any taste anyway…
The point is a streamer COULD simply rename themselves and play anonymously - if they were REAL gamers. But let’s be honest about what they are here…
I will dedicate my life to following and protecting Asmongold.
That’s not even true…
Asmongold has a following of lemmings…
just sayin…
And based on his little whoopise last night with the Gurubashi Arena JUMP… I’d say the lemmings are marching two by two…
What? I’m not a streamer and I was in the beta from the beginning…
You are a true hero my friend.
This memorial day, never forget… that within the last hour of stress test… one troll… took out Asmongold… while on live stream. His followers could not stop his inevitable death. Bortami bled for the Horde… and he died… but he took Asmongold with him.
Do not forget his sacrifice.
He couldn’t scream ‘SPAM HEAL ME’ fast enough…
imagine strategizing this. you know ahead of time that people who want to harrass and gank you will be watching your stream to witness you being harrassed and ganked, so you and some dedicated fans have second accounts, and gank yourself. why? because the gankers are watching YOUR stream, YOUR videos, you are coordinating the whole thing.
Someone, get this man or woman a check. They got it. This is something Asmongold would do.
That’s not true. There’s several streamers who already are heavily into PvP and known for streaming primarily PvP. People like Venruki and other arena streamers who have been playing Classic - they were streaming on PvP servers before the BfA change to Warmode, and have been heavily into OwPvP in beta. I’ve watched others as well lately.
So don’t make such an assumption. There will be PvP servers with streamers and we’ll need to keep an eye out for which servers those are.
alternative: you and the other streamers coordinate ganking each other. it’s good tv…err video
Well and they just won’t stream every day. If there’s some nights they’re not raiding and just want to OwPvP, they’ll either not stream or just have a huge delay. It’s not like WoW hasn’t had PvP servers before with people that stream from them. Classic isn’t bringing anything new to the table lol.
Hell… Some of the most involved PvP events in ‘all’ of gaming come from EVE Online and their massive null sec alliances. Even there you’ve got leaders of alliances basically coordinating in the background to setup fights for thousands of players just to blow stuff up.
They will specifically owpvp without a delay to get viewers and provide content.
The smart ones will complain during this to provide drama which is entertaining.
