So many streamers I was following have vanished… can some one suggest me new streamers to follow?im into pvp stuff
I like watching Ziqo, mainly for his laugh!
Ties streamers to the end of a kite
There little fella! Chase the pretty colours!
Thank you for the good news. Now if the trend only continues!
A lot of them have moved over to FFXIV, there’s a lot of people streaming that game with titles like “New player, WoW refugee”. And established FFXIV streamers are getting so many questions from WoW refugees that they now put things like “WoW refugees welcome, will answer any questions” in their stream titles.
They might be vanishing, but it’s helping people like myself grow. I mainly stream leveling content though (DesMephisto). Currently on a quest for 42 120 warriors (one of every race and gender). It’s a great stream for people who have disabilities to feel welcome and safe (I myself have autism, ocd and adhd). Doing a whole thing for autism awareness month to raise money for charity as well through tiltify.
outside of wow but i like *Lacari
Streaming wow is dead. No one plays anymore. Only time to watch it is during progression.
Well I always found watching people game boring, I am the sort of person that has to be in all the action. It’s no different to my attitude towards sport really, on the one hand, participating in it can be fun, but watching people do it just boring…I guess like I don’t feel that I’m achieving anything unless I’m part of the action, you know what I mean?
I’m shocked I agree.
Watching people have fun brings me less enjoyment than me myself having fun.
What really triggered me off was Twitch. Someone that was all like ‘yeah I will be your friend you can talk to me whenever’, but then it’s like what they meant was only on their Twitch channel when they surrounded by constant people watching their game.
I mean they honestly spend their entire lives on Twitch and its irritating as it comes at the cost of proper interaction.
Is Pilav still a thing?
I feel that may be an entirely different issue fellow traveller.
Hazelnutty!
I only see that from 1 streamer so idk what your talking about. Could be missing them but I haven’t seen it from anyone else yet. Have to really dig it seems.
I tried FFXIV but just couldn’t get into it. It has so many problems they’re just different ones than wow. There’s so much leveling and story that they also have a character boost, the glamour system is horrid, storage system is horrid, combat pacing is too slow, raiding seems somewhat boring but I’m not sure about this yet, etc.
Anyway no idea. Some got bored, some are playing other games. Some probably couldn’t continue to stream as a lot of them didn’t get many views. Most of the ones I follow are still around a lot. Not that I’m trying to defend WoW as it’s not in a good state but WoW is generally in the top 10-15 and usually top 5 with tournaments while I haven’t seen FFXIV break top 30-50.
Bad place to speak about streamers. People here have some irrational vendetta against them.
Though I agree, it isn’t good for the game. Despite what people stuck in 1990s gaming might think, Streamers can impact a games success and popularity on an alarming scale.
This is something industry and corporation marketing teams have been trying to tap into, to great effect.
Infact, id argue Classics popularity and the sudden mass increase to Classics demand, was inspired when Blizzard forbid the streaming if private classic servers and nostalrius was shut down.
Content Creators spoke out in number, and notice how the demand for Classic also rose at the same time.
And some people have an unhealthy obsession with them
I don’t really care much about streamers. But, I also would be a fool to not realize how streaming has grown far beyond just some nerds hobby.
With some of these bigger streamers securing sponsership deals in the six figures, it’s not something to really laugh at or write off anymore.
Gaming Industry is changing and growing rapidly, and Streaming is playing a huge part into that.

I don’t like streamers unless their name is healsvsbabyface.
Sorry I meant nobbel the noble not him.
Anyone saying or thinking streamers dont have relevancy is wrong. Most of them have well over 250 subs. The lowest views I’ve seen is like 20k on a slow day. The game is at most ok in terms of playability and in a world of games noone really wants to stick around for just ok.
