I’ve been a vanilla players since 2006 why cant the avid wow players get beta access all there doing is making revenue and getting free advertisement from these streamers

We can all experience the beta with streamers. It’s a good idea. It’s a win for Blizz in free hype and a win for us. Do I personally want to play, as a subscriber since Vanilla? Yes. This is a good second option for the masses.

Why would Blizzard advertise their game instead of not advertising their game. I deserve something.

Of course streamers were getting invites. They need to advertise the game. To get upset that they are doing what every business ever does just because you lost the lottery is silly.

This has always been the case with media who are worse at playing than streamers. You just never noticed them because they weren’t part of the community.

Why come streamers get in there early to report all the good bugs before I even get a chance?

Just be patient and wait for more waves of invites.

So much for RNG every popular streamer got a invite and I wonder how many people who HAVE since vanilla accounts don’t get to play. Bliz you could of just said this is a beta only for streamers and I wouldn’t of got none of my hopes up.

Here’s how Blizzard advertising works:

  1. Invite streamers who have no interest in actually beta testing the game. Instead just racing each other to level 30.

  2. Collect data from actual testers who are trying their hardest to notice things that are wrong through the limited view of Twitch without being able to test it themselves.

  3. Realize there are extremely basic things still wrong with the game.

  4. Continue inviting streamers because advertising.

Streamers are not even the majority of the population that is playing beta, but is the only part you can see. I have seen Tips submitting several bug reports.

So far it’s pretty clean but I’m sure we’ll see more bugs after we get out of starter areas.

Dude EVERY big streamer got the beta I do not have to list them all they are all on right now they didn’t say anything about hand picking people but they did give streamers beta access. I am sure some normal players got the invite but EVERY STREAMER is now on this thing where is the RNG from that?

Nope, Bob Ross channel on twitch has yet to receive an invite. That channel is huge.

And why wouldn’t you invite streamers! Some are playing all day, plenty of time to test. At the same time they have people watching their screens, also calling out bugs. Plus, there’s the free publicity! Of course I’m envious that I haven’t got a beta invite but oh well that’s how the cookie crumbles, I can wait until launch when the time I put into my toon wont be wasted :slight_smile:
