Am I the only one that intends on avoiding servers that streamers play on? It would seem like a massive inconvenience to play on the same realm.

The streamers’ servers will likely be the most populated. More population means more players for groups, more items on the AH which can drive down prices, and easier recruiting for guilds.
Of course the main downside of a large server: the queue. Community shouldn’t be a factor, because there have been huge servers that still had a community.
Nostalrius had ~6k online… while scriptcraft had 2k? Scriptcraft had an amazing community with a 2k population.
This is actually something I’ve considered, whether it’s worth rolling on a streamer server or avoid it.
This also ties in with the question, how dead will the deadest server be?
I’m just going to play on PvE servers.

Depending on how many servers they release and of what type…you might have no choice to be on their server. They won’t affect your gameplay in the slightest because most of them will be in raids having gear funneled to them or in BGs as premade.
I’m not on the forums a lot? What gave you the impression that I hate streamers? I said it would be an inconvenience which I’ve based my opinion on past events in the game’s history. (I’m OP)

Queue times would be reason enough for me to avoid any server with big streamers on it. I just hope I don’t accidentally choose where they roll. Maybe I’ll use my 3 name saves on 3 different servers just to cover my bases.

I intend on rolling an alt on their server. I’ve got well enough time that I think, personally, I’ll be able to get several 60s up, if not to actually play but to join in on their events on the occasion I’m bored enough.
I’m not saying I hate streamers, just that every other thread on this forum is one about hating streamers.
Your lack of posts. Usually when someone starts a thread with a character at zero posts, they are doing it to incite rage.
Avoid the toxic streamers like the plague!

I clicked log in on the page at it happened to just pick that character. As I said, I’m not on the forums much and I haven’t been since probably TBC.

How are you going to know what servers each of these streamers are on? Do you think they’ll be advertising their choices?
I guess I don’t really care one way or the other really. World events are a blast to me and I tend to go for the highest populated servers.
I still haven’t decided on PvE or PvP yet. Will probably have some characters on both at some point.
Edited to add: Queues don’t bother me so that won’t be a factor in my realm choice. I would rather be on a high populated realm that will stay highly populated for a long time to come than one that will be almost dead later on down the road, like this character is on unfortunately. I made this character on my first realm out of nostalgia and regret it lol. It isn’t worth it to me to pay for transfers.
I’ll just be avoiding the bigger ones. You can’t avoid every streamer. I’ve streamed, but almost never go above 80 viewers.
I would just assume avoid them TBH.

tbh, just avoid Asmongold/Sodapoppin and you’re fine. the other streamers aren’t much of a problem.
