Just a friendly reminder that if you find out a certain streamer (asmongold/sodapoppin) is on a certain server, you should definitely post here so people that just want to play the game know to avoid said server.

Frankly I don’t think there are going to be enough servers for that to matter. If Blizzard is nitpicking on RP-PvP servers being “too niche”, I doubt there will be that many.

I do wish Blizzard would release server info or names already if nothing else, just so Streamers will know where to roll and it will help there fanbase know where to go and those who want to join in as well, and also for us who want to avoid such. Not that i have anything against streamers.

Oh no, not at all, but there is a video on the YouTubes detailing the many issues with being on said server. I’ll link it.
I’ve never watched someone else play video games and comment about it because that sounds like one of the most boring things ever. That being said, how would I even know that a streamer is on my realm and why does that matter?

Streaming seems like an evasion of privacy. If you are on ventrilo or discord talking with friends about who knows what and unbeknownst to you, someone else in the channel is streaming the conversation… which is then saved on twitch… forever.

I predict an incoming post from the typical person on this forum saying this is a non problem and that it happened in Vanilla so you shouldn’t care.
Personally, I’m more worried about fanboys mass reporting me for even making this post

While I have a feeling this will change because Blizzard seems to underestimate classic, I think early on we’re going to have few enough servers this won’t matter. There will be a popular one on all of them, probably much more than 1. Not to mention the people who haven’t even started streaming yet who will become popular because of classic itself.

I do want at least 2 pvp servers so I can try to escape the streamers.
There are far more than 4 streamers, so I doubt 2 servers will succeed in that.
