as most of the streamers are in the guild STRAMER ONLY Alpha guild ….Only boggles the mind will the beta SL only be only for streamers also ?

Most testers aren’t streamers, those are very few. Alpha testing tends to be more limited, a lot more invites will go out later when beta kicks off.

There are few people in alpha, I’d say 1/3 are streamers which makes sense as they are streamers… They are content creators for the game which gives hype for the game more than 1 random like you or I could do for the game. Go watch a vod of Asmongold streaming alpha and you will see lots of random people hovering around him because they want to be in the stream (because they aren’t streamers themselves).

The streamers get people hyped which gets Blizzard $$$. I think it makes sense that they release the game to the people who will put their original spin on it (for free) and make people associate the new expansion with their favorite streamers! But I’m pretty sure that there are non-streamers playing too. We just wouldn’t see them.

Why does that boggle your mind, there are too many people acting like a distraction, etc towards these streamers so this isn’t a new practice.
I’m actually quite terrified of that. Remember the freakout someone had when someone on the alpha pointed out that the images for Chromie’s “expansion choices for leveling” were in the wrong boxes? They were calling out that Blizzard “can’t even manage to use the right pictures” and they have lost ALL HOPE FOR SHADOWLANDS because they tossed in the images without organizing them because it’s one of the least-important things to be working on right now.
Anything done in pre-release game is vilified and exaggerated as proof that the game is awful. Alpha being small is nice. There are fewer doomsayers.

So would the alpha testers, from what I’ve seen. Seen several of them complain there arent enough people to actually test dungeons.

Ok people, we all know streamers get first opt in, they are free advertising. Soon it will be our turn to really give Beta a test. Just be patient.
