This was intentional. Bland boring vanilla players got to see sod kits at work lighting up AV. That paladin now wants steed, the hunter wants to use and launch traps in combat… This was no bug, this was Blizzard luring more players back to sod. Very creative.
Nah, what it probably is, is them testing a “Legacy Mode” BG setting.
Where everyone from Classic’s Vanilla ‘era’ can come and play together because that scene is dying fast.
Sod is super fun for me still i was sure today in av, and you still have time to get cool gear you can buy all runes from vendor and they annonce tyr hand raid.
There were 150+ AVs and 40+ wsg up but sure it’s dying fast
No duh, Anniversary is the shiny new thing.
Spoilers: Era is where Anniversary will end up, in terms of player count. - No, they probably won’t come back to SoD. They’ll just unsub and wait for TBC Anniversary Edition.
((Which is why Blizzard was keen to mentioned Anniversary was going to TBC. Because they know most players will play Vanilla for a month or two then quit or go back to Era and continue ‘raid logging’. That mention is a “carrot on a stick” to keep those players subbed for the next year’ish doing the same thing they did back in 2019.))
I hate to break it to you but “tbc waiting room” is a meme and that xpac is dead on arrival.
