It would be great if we were able to obtain the items by other means like real coins.

4 badges for a win and also 4 badges if you can get 1800 resources in a losing BG.
7500 honor for a 3-set of badges turned in to the general.
I’ll hit rank 12 on reset and let me tell you, I’ve been quite leisure about getting the ranks, been doing it by queing solo.

The SOD version is no comparison. I didn’t have the commitment to get to rank 14 in vanilla classic. I also didn’t have the butt smooching capabilities.
I wouldnt be opposed to added it to reals… its just that pvprs need loving as well.
Just add 2v2 and 3v3 rated arenas. U get them for win and losses as well as a ranked ladder pvps could climb and have actually meaningful content

I do agree though there should be another way to obtain these mounts. Sadly majority of the players that ARE participating in the event anymore, are off in their own corners wintrading with others or themselves on diff accounts.

Just turn everywhere into the blood moon art the set intervals. Can only cash the blood in at the alters.

BGs and arenas are hardly PVP. PVP in an MMO is meant to be dynamic. Battlegrounds and arenas are set teams. World PVP is the only true PVP in an MMO.

World pvo just doesnt work. Never has in any video game in history. It just creates a meta of trolling and griefing that drives players away.

Bloodmoon was the best time I had in SOD back when it was popular. I would love to go back there and spend my time during and after the gearing process in P8. It could add longevity to the game once development stops.
Griefing is PvP that isn’t incentivized or rewarded by the game. Harassment might be a better word.

No it’s not. The only incentive is fun. If you need rewards to play a game, you shouldn’t be playing that game.
