You only allow us to hand in these items once per week, yet I have like 10 of them so it will take me 10 weeks to hand in all of them.

You don’t always use the rock. There are combinations to spawn the different elementals, all 13 of which you need for the meta achiev. So I’d keep only the volcanic rocks you need for the elementals left, and you can vendor/delete the rest.
There’s a list on wowhead with the combinations needed. If you summon one you’ve already defeated you essentially set yourself back a week from completing Periodic Destruction.
Thankfully the summoning items aren’t BOP so you can mail them around to alts.
