Strange sound effects no matter where I am

Regularly, no matter what zone or even what character I am on I hear the sound of like ghouls and ghosty type sound effects, they play like every five or ten minutes and I can literally be in any zone, completely alone, on any continent and it will play, on multiple characters.

Is this a prepatch feature or a bug?

Spooky. Did you happen to pick up the new Haunted Memento item, by any chance?

I’ll check, but to my knowledge no. And if I did why would it be on all of my characters? Even ones I’ve not taken to icecrown?

True, didn’t consider that right away. Not sure what it could be, then. Sure still is spooky, though.
