Yeaa I love shore. I heard they removed it from the rotation for rated bgs which is wack if true.

I ran around doing randoms and epics to get my main geared up. I managed to top the node-points twice with 700 each time.
it’s a BG where the lower-geared people can sneak around and get nodes if the better-geared people twig to that.

Not only that but it heavily rewards those of us who play objective and don’t tunnel fights.

Believe bliz stated it was the most blacklisted bg by far, especially in the segment of players not on the honor grind and it had tons of leavers
It’s not like it didn’t have a chance to shine, it just sucked for most players

They might add Tol Barad to the battlegrounds to the new patch. but we will see in future.
It was an awful bg, full of bugs, cheese and people trying to pvp with tanks.

I’m not a big fan of vehicle PvP, but my main issue with Strand is similar to Wintergrasp. The games had a tendency to get long and drawn out as one team dominated the other.
They should release it as a weekly (one time even). Nostalgia aside, it might be interesting to look at the feedback/engagement.

From what I remember Strand devolved into sitting infront of the last gate for 15 minutes snaring/insta killing all the demos. Literally running into a meat grinder over and over for 15 mins
I can’t even imagine what it would be like today. Vehicles die almost instantly in WG and IOC. The thought that strand would be any better is LAUGHABLE.
people want strand of ancients back. people are now bored. ever since they blacklisted that. it’s sad now lately. so it disappeared.
