Strafe Doesn't Work

I entered a delve, and my strafe abilities stopped working suddenly - finished the delve and they still don’t work. reset the keybinds and even assigned them to different keys, Strafe ability still doesn’t work. Restarted wow and blizz launcher. Still nothing

Your issue is probably this one:

It’s the mirrors. Once you click on them to reposition them, strafe left/right or turning left/right stop working. Logging off your character and back on fix the issue, but it will happen again as soon as you click on a mirror.

Thanks, logged out for a few minutes and it fixed it

Having to do this is, isn’t right. We shouldn’t have to relog every time we touch a mirror in these delves that they made in the whole gear grind. The systems should work like they were made. Prior to this patch, no issues, now we have this issue…

Thanks for helping track this down. The delve with the worst boss also having insane bugs seems very on brand for Blizz these days.

I lost strafe and jump in a TW dungeon so not just Shadow Enclave.

Had strafing and jump diabled on the same character both from the mirrors in The Shadow Enclave delve and from a crash-to-login durring the first boss of the Mogu’shan Palace TW dungeon

This still is an issue, happened on my monk moments ago. hearthed out of the delve, logged out and onto a different char. strafe fine. relogged to monk, strafe fixed.

I also had this problem after doing the delve with the mirrors in the Shadow Enclave ( Mirror Shine ) For me it was even worse as it prevented me to loot item. The loot window did not come up. I did decide to finish the delve, but obviously NOT using the bountiful coffer key… however for some reason the game did take away the key and i didnt receive anything.

To fix the strafe and loot issue, relogging directly back on the character did not work for me, So i decided to relog on a alt first and then to the main character. It fixed the problem for me.

I Guess Blizzard really should bring back that QA department :slight_smile:

I think this my be a bug related to vehivle mechanics, as vehicles have movement restrictions. It seems normal movement isn’t reseting when you leave a vehicle mode.
