I know our abilities aren’t really canon IC, but look at the biggest hitters, and at their 1-9 abilities… Druid and Shaman have probably the most broken openers even at low levels… one will weaponize the heavens against you, the other casually hurls LIGHTNING and by time Warlocks can drain life… a Shaman can go full Jesus and resurrect themselves.
Mage or Shaman for me personally.
He did get a power up from using a warlock skull and he would fold for a really good pic of Tyrande’s feet.
No particular order:
Wizard: Wizards can blow up entire planets given sufficient energy source.
Demon Hunters: Although it falls short of blowing up a planet, Illidan did once try to sunder Azeroth in half to stop Arthas.
Warlocks: Same as mages, but green.
Druids: One time Malfurion nearly drowned Kalimdor in a monsoon because he was sad.
Priests / Paladins / Death Knights: Cults be crazy.
Depends if you’re looking at the class as a whole, or who’s the most powerful
Cuz if its just strongest then its mage followed by mage 20 other times before anything else even considers showing up
If you’re thinking about everyone whos a member of that class, be like
Evoker/DK/Warlock
Evoker cuz they’re literally just the elite of the elite
DK/Warlock cuz the weak ones die long before they become a fully fledged one
In summary, void takes the title.
As Lich King downed by Sylvanna, mage brought to the ground by Xalattath.
Who will be the champion?
Lore wise I’m pretty sure some of the most powerful characters are druids and shamans. Maged and warlocks get up there as well.
To the people saying mages trump everything, remember that the orc shamans called on the elementals to destroy the ogre empire, and at the time the ogres were arcane magi and believed nothing could stand against their arcane magic.
Illidan had ultimate simp energy lol
Warlocks and mages both have infinite power potential. Warlocks have blown up planets. Mages have become so skilled in the art that the most powerful mage in existence, Queen Azshara casts spells with her thoughts and no one can use magic around her unless she permits it. She can wield arcane fel and void at the same time. So the answer is both. Because both are only limited by their own intelligence, will, and determination.
This is why I am subscribing to WoW. Very interesting to see the result.
Rogue is tapping cosmic, who is cosmic?
I always see RtB, and scribe that pops up, that looks cosmic.
depends
army wise the deathknights due to not need to eat drink sleep or rest
but lore wise its hard to pick
Hey, you remember that time your “Highlord” took an acid bath?
Me too.
Most definitely a mage. Arcane is essentially the language of Order itself, and a master of it can do just about anything. Taking lore over class mechanics, a skilled mage could utilize any elements they wish in any feasible combination they choose. They can manipulate time, teleport across vast distances instantly, alter their surroundings in any number of ways, and even cause natural disasters. Rune magic is as well open to them, up to and including the art of necromancy.
Physically speaking, unlike in other media, mages are not forced to be weak at all. Some of them boast monstrous bodily capabilities to go with their magic. Similarly, some of them know spells that allow them to greatly augment said physical capabilities. Battlemages are kinda nuts - all the magic of a standard mage, all the opening a can of whoopass of a warrior.
How are you guys so horribly wrong. Lorewise its 9999999% druids. Not only are they ridiculously strong but most of them are thousands of years old and experienced; something wow never even comes close to encapsulating. In a natural setting you wouldnt get anywhere whatsoever close to a druid without them absolutely allowing it, let one see one.
Everything druids do falls within the purview of arcane. A correctly learned mage could do it all, likely better than them. Yes, including the shapeshifting.
Yeah, but then they get corrupted and go evil at like the drop of a hat. Then we have to kill them and they come across as underwhelming.
Broxigar would like a word with you.
Even the nightelf druids revere that warrior.
Nah, druids also have access to arcane, and even the oldest wisest mage is an infant to an archdruid.
Youre vastly underestimating the whole fact of them having multiple lifetimes worth of exp
In books? Mage/Druid
In game? Warrior, that class has been hit by Blizzards nerf hammer over and over and over and they still get back up
I think you’re missing my point. Everything druids do can be reproduced through arcane magic. Druids can utilize arcane energy, but they’re not using arcane magic. Some of their magic simply happens to be arcane. There’s a distinction between arcane as a type of energy and arcane as the language of Order.
