I’m trying to even imagine what they could show that I’d find genuinely exciting.
The last expansion announcement was just so drenched in “We know we sucked, we’re sorry, please don’t hate us” that I wasn’t even thinking on terms of “is this exciting or not.” Now I am.

Just do what I do to avoid disappointment: realize you don’t care because the setting was devastated beyond repair years ago. I’ve reached enlightenment and the worst I’m gonna do at a lame setting/concept is roll my eyes, while before I’d have been more vocal. None of it matters, it’s all crap.

What time does this even start? I really hate converting time to local time.
Oh there was a time I would be genuinely upset, this is more of a “I expected nothing and you still failed my expectations” kind of energy.
Just as Gavik said I don’t think there is anything they can present that would make me mark my calendar or take a day off of work to jump into the new content.
Those days are long gone, its just morbid curiosity that’s left.

Oh thank the elements Hearthstone is still getting trailers. I thought with the announcement last month this would be the first expac without one.

We have 4 different versions of these things. There’s always some prominent elven city, story, faction, or character in every expac.

“20 years have led to this”, combined with Cata Classic confirmed, are honestly making me wonder if it’s a world revamp. That’s like the one thing that could get me excited. I’m prepared to be let down though.
