Our final MO is to just hold Super Earth. Super USA, Super China, and Super Phillipines all aren’t looking so hot. And we’ve only Super Sweden and Super Congo to fall back to if those fall.

We already lost Super Egypt, Super Germany and Super Brazil. It’s bleak out here.

My Controller has developed an absolutely insane level of Stick Drift. Camera shoots straight to the Ceiling constantly.

I’m gonna have to buy a new one. Currently searching Amazon for a decent but affordable PC Bluetooth controller.

Completed 8 mask Org.

Oh how I remember why I hated Valley of Wisdom (Gaya’rah just charges anything that moves, even if you are standing still) and Valley of Honor (bloody stun locking bugs).

I dont really consider a playable Nerubian/Spider type race… but Ungoliant was pretty awesome, and I would play a Spider named Ungoliant.

Speaking of the Org scenario…

You make me wanna do a run just to say hello to Garona. She is still there, hopefully, if all the other stuff is the same.

Hmm. I just do not know anymore lately.

I think it may be time for a break.

WoWs client is unstable again for me. Worse than it’s ever been.

So I been thinking of stepping away until either Nvidia or Blizz implements a fix for it and I’ll probably go back to playing Diablo 3. Haven’t touched it in a long time

I’m resisting the Urge to roll a Mag’har Shaman for a couple reasons.

  1. I kinda wanted to wait until Legion Remix to make a Shaman. But I am also notoriously impatient when it comes to making new characters.
  2. I’ve been resistant to the idea of playing Orcs in general, because I desire the ability to play a character with my skin color without having to be an “other” and I never got over the feeling of being an “other”/stand-in when trying an Orc. I could play Kul Tiran, but I can never get over their stupid comically exaggerated beer bellies. KTs should be built similar to Draenei instead of being an Old-Timey Bartender cosplay.

but none of the races that I do actually like, BEs, Worgen (Brown-skinned Human form), Dracthyr (Brown-Skinned Visage) can be a Shaman.

bleh.

I might just cave and make a Mag’Har.

(I think would break from this, to play an Ethereal or an Ascended Nerubian tho)

I’m feeling this as well.

My “legacy” run is fun, but also bloody lonely even joining a guild just to have someone to talk to is just a constant reminder that if I’m not doing the current endgame, I’m not really with anyone else.

I feel this so much… I would love to have a Blood Elf Shaman… probably wouldn’t overcome the malaise I’m feeling right now though.

I’m just tired of the constant client screwups with WoW. It’s been a constant issue with them lately.

I’m over it. It’s frustrating and it’s making me not want to play anymore

I’m so glad they’re adding dark-skinned Twi’leks in the new SWTOR patch. The Disney canon added one named Tualon Yaluna, and SWTOR, the only continuing Star Wars Legends medium, may have taken inspiration from the new canon (which they have sometimes), or simply come up with it independently. Either way it brings a smile to my face.

Sadly, Legion Remix excites me more than the ongoing story.

I think a lot of that is you all getting yourselves worked up over something that hasn’t happened yet, but you fear it might.

I’m not even feeling amused about Legion Remix, I really don’t like the end game phase when it turns us into the Yellow Alliance. That and I love Shaman, and the Shaman Hall and quests are driven by the Draenei instead of the other races. I’d have been fine with something like a balance, but most of the time it’s getting quests from and/or helping Draenei.

Just not feeling the desire to deal with it. Also, while I’ve been having fun with Warrior lately I’ve not interest in helping Odyn and dealing with his BS… finally. I played the heck out of Monk through that expansion the first time I ran it. I don’t really enjoy the other classes so nope.

Also just feeling burnt out in general. I’m feeling like there’s no point in me bothering to play the game when it treats me like an unwanted stepchild and I’m getting tired of feeling like nothing I do means anything because I’m not doing M+ or Raiding… which is all anyone seems to care about.

This has bothered me for a long time too. It’s hard to put into words how I been feeling lately. Maybe a little mini vacation from the game will do us some good.

I’m thinking of getting back into Diablo and it’s lore again. I’m thinking of getting into Diablo 4 also, just for a fun change of pace

Midnight and the novel aren’t factoring into it—as I mentioned in that very thread, I’ll wait for the datamines from the beta to form an actual opinion. I just don’t like the faction unity direction or most of the character writing. The Arathi Highlands announcement gave me a lot of hope until the details emerged. Human Jobber Coalition villains, Mag’har were an afterthought dropped in for token Horde presence to tell what the designer directly called a “Human story.”

Gameplay itself is improving, the art and design team continually hit it out of the park. If I were playing seriously, raid team and all that, I’d probably stay invested for that. I’m more casual these days, though, and the story is okayish at best. I really need a strong hook here, and the Xal’atath/Beledar “wait and see” drip feed isn’t going to cut it.

If you do get into D4, give Necromancer a good look, I played around with it a few seasons back and it was very flexible as a class. Felt like I could basically build anything I wanted, probably wouldn’t do great but it’s a really flexible class with a lot of options.

Yeah, I’m debating heading back to ESO and resuming my Dark Elf Templars journey through the game. Also, kind of want to keep redoing all of these old quests in TBC and Wrath at least so I can have the Mogs and more updated memory of the old lore.

I can appreciate that.

We will have to agree to disagree.

I’m often left disappointed in these areas. I apparently just don’t appreciate the “class fantasy”, whatever that means, of most of the classes.

I would love a Hunter who could flex and flow between melee and range with pet being something optional. I’d love a Shaman who could actually take a hit and not immediately need to sacrifice damage throughput to heal. About the only thing I’d change with Monk is dropping the drinking culture elements from it in favor of something less meme-like and more practical.

I do prefer Classic style classes (minus the wild balance discrepancy). Within the current framework of each spec effectively its own class, I think the current iteration is the best so far.

Delves have been great. I’m glad to see them relaxing (however painfully slow) their stranglehold on gearing paths. I wish they would find a new iteration for WQs, because those are pretty stale. Part of why I’m excited about Legion Remix is they are incorporating what looks like a blueprint for endgame World Content (shattered timelines or whatever it is called).

Leveling is an absolute wasteland though. You can’t accrue gear fast enough to keep up with your journey, the storylines are all a disjointed mess that you leave in the dust after a zone or two. The devs desperately need to take an honest look at a new player’s experience. Right now it is like falling down a fight of stairs into the deep end of the pool. Navigating anything endgame based is practically impossible without wowhead, and even some of those guides are outdated.

I guess what’s annoying me the most about the client instability, is like every Fix is usually some form of Alter this thing or that on your computer and it should work

And I’m like No, I’m not altering my very expensive computer because X gaming company can’t get their ish together. Their problem, they can fix it

They also need to rebalance the tree’s to be viable at all of the “tiers” of gameplay this game has.

I’ve been playing as level locked 30’s in TBC, really only need the one though and might drop the others since I doubt I’ll be getting much from the dungeons, Heroic TBC is brutal, and all of the quests give us all of the potential mogs as rewards now.

The changes to Heirlooms certainly doesn’t help either as they scale at a much slower rate than even quest greens.

A lot of this is they are switching to a more “slice of life” style story telling to help make the world/zone feel alive. Would be nice if they put in more effort to weave them together though so they influenced each other.

That and if they really want me to care, they should give my characters Agency instead of treating me as just an object for advancing the plot.

I can’t suggest it enough to instead of getting on the express ramp, currently Dragonflight, taking the back roads, without chromie time, and slowly level through the old content adjusting your build and working out how to get the most out of your character at all the different tiers of play. I did that with my first Monk, and I’d say I’m still at my best when I’m dancing around the battlefield on my Brew Monk.

Delves seem to be getting a claw back in that regard. They are still pushing people into M+, which too me isn’t even close to them “respecting” the solo crowd.

That does sound interesting though based on what I’ve seen of this Horrific Visions BS I’m not holding my breath.
