Whatchu talkin’ bout? BfA happened. Shadowlands happened. Dragonlands happened. TWW is still happening. The issue I get worked up over is Blizzard ruining the faction I’ve played since Vanilla, then promptly abandoning it. The issue I get worked up over is the default preference to showcase Alliance characters in prominent positions, with a token Thrall and/or Baine joining them.
Sure, maybe Midnight will buck that trend, and maybe the upcoming novel being about more Alliance characters is just the swansong for the Blue Dominance, and maybe the whole talk about uniting the various elves in Quel’thelas is some elaborate misdirect to obfuscate what’s really going to be a big time showing for the blood elves.
But maybe I’m tired of hoping on a maybe. Maybe I need something solid, something real.
Undermine was fine. Good even!! But it’s hardly enough to really make me forget that even when Blizzard has a prominent Horde character take some spotlight, they have to throw in some Alliance characters to make sure we know who’s really the focus (Reznik, Shaw) and surround them with an abundance of neutral characters to ensure the Hordiness isn’t too spicy or something. And it’s hard not to notice that when it’s the only thing we’ve really been given for Horde in a while.
The thing I’m worked up over is the systematic dismantling of the thing that made me first fall in love with WoW. It’s not a thing that hasn’t happoened yet; it’s an ongoing thing that really started to rear its ugly head in Cata, MoP and WoD. Then ramped all the way up with BfA.
And I know this isn’t something going to be solved overnight. I know it’ll take time. And hey, maybe Midnight will start rolling the ball in the other direction. Or maybe it won’t.
But it’s kinda annoying hoping for maybes.

I just started leveling a troll Rogue this past week. I got through Azshara and less than half of Winterspring before I had outleveled the Old World. I think there is a bonus xp event going on, but even so. Tried to Chromie Time WoD and I’m not sure I’ll make it out of Frostfire before 70.
Tell me about it.
I’m just so damned tired. I’m so bloody tired of everything right now. I just want to turn out the lights, pull the blackout curtains tight and just curl up in bed and sleep.
I’m having a really hard time staying positive right now. It’s why I’ve barely posted any on the forums.

Horde this and Alliance that
I’ll be honest. I don’t give a damn about of any of it. I’ll discuss it sure. But I can’t be bothered to care anymore. I’m tired of humans, orcs and elves getting all the damn attention. You could literally remove the dwarves, gnomes, draenei, Kul’tirans, and worgen as playable races and you know what changes about WoWs story? Absolutely nothing.
Blizz is allergic to writing anything above a second grade level. I guess thats why I really enjoyed Dragonflight. Factions weren’t really relevant. Until the last patch anyway. But Bel’Ameth was needed so that didn’t really bother me.
In short, I’m exhausted, tired and just sick of the same four dead horse arguments this forum loves to dredge up.
I know a lot of this is just me being moody today.

You likely won’t there’s a ton of quests in that zone.
Once I learned how I started locking my level and playing the old content for a while. My Monk did a bunch of Cata quests, before migrating to Legion and hitting their stride. I locked their level at 49 for a while and farmed different places trying to get more gear so I could solo Argus. I had of course no idea about enchantments and wasn’t using WoWhead for any of this just the obvious options of running quests and grinding through dungeons for gear. I don’t believe I even looked at the Auction House or WoWhead until after I’d hit the then level cap of 70 and started focusing on figuring out how to solo the “world” bosses and special elites of the dragon isles.
My plan was to use the new alt to plug holes in the Old World Lorewalker achievement, but I guess I’ll prob just do it on my main instead.
Simple-ish solution… lock your level if you are already over the level cap for WoD, or whatever just don’t turn off chromie time, though if you are within 4 levels of the cap you might be fine as you don’t start auto-killing until 5 levels, well that’s how it was pre TWW, and you can always use the toy and carry white weapons and gear if it gets really bad, or just punch something.
It is less about preserving the experience in my case. It was more of a two birds, one stone. Wanted a Troll to do the Heritage, had some achievements I could pick up on the way. Ultimately doesn’t affect me all that much, but it struck me how manic the entry must be for someone starting out for the first time.
Yeah I’m probably gonna cave and just make a Mag’har Orc. they’re monster-coded, but at least they’re still Brown.

cause the Kul Tiran heritage set is so good that even Kul Tiran males look great in it, and KT males look awful in everything.
Even better than Legion era Onslaught.
The Darkspear and Mag’har sets are my favorite right after blood elves. Blizzard did a good job even if the quests to obtain them are lame.

Nightreign’s cutscenes and interviews reveal interesting implications of the Dark Souls Universe.
The Night Lord brought the Dark Souls Bosses to Nightreign’s version of Elden Ring’s Universe according to the Interview with the Director(whom https://www.reddit.com/r/Nightreign/comments/1ktku45/its_all_a_ruse/ theorizes is infact Miyazaki in disguise).
It is revealed ingame that the Night Lord who appeared after the Shattering was infact a Tree Person trying to get the Rune of Night back to Marika though needed the Player to retrieve the Rune as it’s vessel was powered by the Rune.
Since the Night Lord came after the Shattering and brought the Dark Souls Enemies that means that the Elden Ring’s Rune of Night is the true source of the Age of Dark and Gwyn was desperately staving off the Rune of Night not the Dark Soul despite containing the Dark Soul of Humanity with the Dark Sign.
Now that the Rune of Night has returned to Marika ending the Age of Dark the Dark Souls Universe shall now transition to the Age of Light & Undeath and need the First Flame to bring about a Temporary Age of Light & Fire to counter it with the Players getting the option to let the First Flame die or link to the Flame.
As for Nightreign… I expect the DLC Story to be about Radagon linking to the Giant’s Flame to counter the Rune of Night and become the new Lord of Cinders with the Elden Beast becoming the Beast of Cinders.
The option at the end will be the same as Dark Souls: Link to the Flame to bring forth day or let Night reign.

This was my first MMO home I will not lie when I say I am eyeing this with great interest as also most of my Fam and Friends that play online games who played with us at that time… My brother even got all nostalgic when he heard the song… man, flying and fighting in the air specially in PvP was something out of a movie at that time!
No game had that… and don’t even get me started on the fact the combo skilled abilities that change as you completed a rotation, supers and ability customization with the rune system, Oh and the CC… omg the CC?! Only recently this past years can I say we have similar to more superior CC, but before I never had played with such a powerful CC my god, when they game died and I had to contend with the poor quality and lowress limited CC of other MMO it most of the time stop me from playing them lolol It was so hard to accept such limitations when you touch such heights of detail for your Avatar! I really though this game would become a giant at the time… they should write a book on how this title IP was mishandle, and it probably would sell a lot! (IMO)
When people ask me why I never got into Vanilla WoW… this is my answer… Aion was literally ahead of its time, truly a shame what happened and how the game decline by their poor choices on how to handle this goldmine my their management.
Truly looking forward to continue this epic adventure and know what the canon of the events that I play in Aion are set for the game. I almost feel like I be coming back home… from a long tireless journey!

Got another puppy. 2 month old St.Bernard mixed with ???. Rescue so I’ve no idea what the parentage is beyond that. Lil fella’s going to be a wild card in terms of size.
I haven’t let him interact with his big sister yet but so far she’s ecstatic to have a brother. Which is a relief. My older dog died quite unexpectedly from cancer when she was a puppy so she’s been an only dog for years. Thought I might have to make my home a doggy demilitarized zone for a spell but it’s looking like that won’t be the case.
