There was a lot to love about SL (And BfA is one of my favorite expansions, honestly).
The main narrative in SL sucked. But there were plenty of fun side narratives. But where SL really shined for me is that all my favorite specs felt the most complete and refined that they have ever felt. Non-rated pvp felt the most enjoyable that it has felt since they turned BGs into random queue. Warmode felt fun enough. Catch up mechanics were great. Crafting to the basic level to make legendaries was painless. Getting the legendaries from Torghast was painless. Despite the complaints from the community, you really could use whatever covenant you liked best, and whatever legendary you liked best. I did not use the meta and had plenty of fun. The only warrior legendary I made was leaper legs and flag carrying was a blast. I got arena rating for the first time in my career. I did the highest keys in M+ that Iāve ever done and did more raiding than Iāve ever done despite that. I didnāt EVER choose the mandatory covenant for my class or spec. I did what made me happy and it worked.
So yeahā¦ The story sucked kinda but the game itself was super polished.
Bastion should have done away with the Souls of the Tauren, Orcs, Dwarves, Goblins and Trolls and limited itself to Humans(not the Paladins or Priests of Light), High Elves(not the Priests of Light), Blood Elves(not the Paladins or Priests of Light), Gnomes, Pandaren(whose description of the Afterlife matches Bastion by the way) and Vulpera.
Ardenweald should have had the Ancients excluded amongst the Wild Gods sent to Ardenweald with the statement that only Loa and the Wild Gods of other Worlds go there.
Didnāt Bastion explain kind of that Kyrian are basically hand picked for their trauma, to have their memories of life erased and be put into service as Kyrian in Bastion? Itās not heaven but the afterlife mental ward for spirit lobotomies. Right? Or did I make that up?
Bastion is for those with a strong will/need to serve. The Arbiter would often send these people to Bastion, so they can examine their own lives and cleanse themselves of their burdens so they can ascend as Kyrians.
Yeah, and thatās because that lone farmer attempted to save his village and he fought a bunch of ghouls all by himself and died. Which made him worthy of Bastion.
I also believe thatās the same quest that Kleia finds out all souls are being dumped into the Maw as thatās where I believe the farmer ends up.
Although, the whole Cuboneās mom thing was kindāve dark now that I look back on it, and some of the Ghost types have some eerie originsā¦ (I think Froslass is thought to be a girl who froze to death in the mountains?)
So, Brann gets xp from a maximum of 28 Bountiful Delves per day per account. In order to maximize his xp, you need at least 7 characters geared up enough to clear Tier 8 Bountiful Delves. Joy.
i mean honestly i sorta figured it was only a matter of time before something like this happened; iām only surprised it wasnāt backstory for a comparatively anthropomorphic pokemon, though. one of the ones where thereās already oodles of salacious artwork from āenthusiasticā fans
My arms warrior hit 1900 in Battleground Blitz and friends, I am scared.
Thereās a lot of smart players and scary specs between me and that 2000 and Lieutenant Commander (Shepard) jokes. I wish this was one of those seasons where arms was an unstoppable monster.
Or that Iād chosen to level an afflock.
OH WELL, itās not really me if Iām not being an absolute muppet. And to be fair, Iām absolutely contributing so itās not like arms is a complete wet blanket spec.
Iām also afraid to change her mog in case I jinx the streak.
